I think that's part of the reason Lijnders has been brought in. Learn how to be more aggressive with the press, remove the sole responsibility from "defensive" players to stop transitions and work better as an off-the-ball unit.
 
No big club is interested in him ,was hyped up massively by Jorge Mendes ,but has not lived up to the hype since the move to Wolves .

I was watching an interview from him. Interesting stuff, but it did strike me the players we appear most likely to sign, don’t seem (on the face of it) the types of players that can “chase” a ball.

I’d have thought MGW rather cherki would be the all action player he’s worked with before.

Let’s see. We definitely need to up the tempo in games

Shit like this just proves that you`ve never really seen him play on more than one occasion, when he may have had a bad game.
You need to look and learn. Has playtime not finished yet ?

Agreed. They don't seem the type to chase, but also haven't been in systems that demanded that (that I know of anyway), so I would guess I can't suggest that they won't.
Marmoush, Nico G, Nunes, Foden, Khusanov and even Rodri to an extent, though all seem like heavy pressers who can encourage those around them to be more front-footed.

Could be wrong, but I feel we're in for some quite radical tactical changes this coming season, particularly out of possession. Hopefully see less of teams ripping through us on transitions.
