Is there really, absolutely no chance for us to just slap the money to bayer right now? It will either force liverpool to leave the table where we then can force ourself in or this will make liverpool go panic mode and up their bid which is also good.

Reports were that we had agreed a lower fee because of an intended partnership going forward and their interest in two players that may have been involved in the deal, Ortega and McAtee.

Liverpool will have to pay €150m I reckon but can’t back out now.

I think everyone on planet earth realizes this will be the case yet we will 100% be scrambling at the last minute. Wish we’d go ahead and move on to target 2 or 3 here.

United have struggled offloading players like Rashford and Sancho, Chelsea also having problems with the 100 players they signed recently
 
I always thought Ortega would stay as 2nd choice. There has been no noise around him leaving apart from Leverkusen wanting him. Now they have agreed for Flekken.

I see the Eddie comments as the same as last year. He wants Saudi as he has a huge deal on the table but we want a fair price and they aren’t willing to offer what we want. Also more keepers now entertaining the Saudi offer, Emi Martinez and Allison.

I’d rather Eddie stay than get any other keeper to be honest but sounds like we have Costa lined up if this changes.

Maybe the Garcia deal was as a potential Ortega replacement that could really challenge Eddie and replace him if needed as we knew Leverkusen were trying to get Ortega but as he’s decided to go to Barca/wants a 100% starting role we pulled out of that and now looks like no changes.

What part of he does not rate us one bit don’t you understand? How are people still
talking about Wirtz. Were about to get 4 starter quality players

If we got Wirtz then we’d get Wesley and MGW now we have more resource allocation due to Cherki we can get Reinjders and Livramento.
