Thinking PR doesn't matter over actual politics is worryingly naïve, optics is everything. In the world of political messaging the rule is it doesn't matter if you're right or wrong, all that matters is that you're certain.

Watch this **** run and hide (alongside the other cunts such as Delaney, Liew, Ziegler and Harris) if and when we are exonerated of the alleged charges because I'm sure that Khaldoon and the club will get their revenge in and bring a shit load of pain down upon their collective heads and also their paymasters. I for one would love to see these cunts sued (or even charged) for libel to the extent that they will be professionally and financially ruined.

You posted Jonathan Wilson twice, but thanks, it was an open question about the press coverage because a lot of articles are behind paywalls these days. And my argument wasn't that the criticism isn't there, it's more about the level of it, the frequency of it. The fact that I had to even look for it or ask about it.

I did notice Sam Lee pulling a fellow journo up for his double standards but I didn't read that article. That's someone who works in the industry and supports United, who has noticed it.

I don't know if it was mentioned in his articles(maybe you could tell me):

But it took Northcroft 3 articles(2 days later) to lead with a headline mentioning it. Would that be the case for City? It would be the same night IMO. There's also the fact that they are probably aware by now, especially if they are active on twitter, that City fans will pull them up on it. So some of it is probably just them covering their own backs, to avoid being called a hypocrite. That's what it feel like for Northcroft anyway: 'Oh shit, I forgot the City fans. I best get that in, so I can say I mentioned it'.


As I mentioned, numerous times I heard: 'This is good for football' in the discussion shows(or whatever the term is). I understand they are talking about the style of football they are playing but those words would never have been said for City, no matter what. They've have avoided saying that like the plague.

City are clearly held to a different standard, I don't even think it's up for debate. Only the why.
