Generally not a tremendous record of Serie A midfielders thriving in the PL, but can't be worse than what we put out there last season.
I actually can’t think of all that many off the top of my head. Gullit and Vieira were excellent. Di Matteo and Tonali pretty decent

Verón and Aquilani stand out as misses

Let’s not forget the legendary David Pizarro

In summary.

It's always a plus if you can actually tell what player you are supposed to be looking at in these videos. The mark of a bad player is where the highlights feature random snips of play where nothing special happens.

Reijnders (TR) is a bit on the small side but he likes to get stuck in. He's often getting stuck in after losing the ball but that's also due to the fact he likes to try tricky stuff in tight spots. So I see similarity to Bernado. But will Pep coach that out of him? That risk taking and ability to make things happen is partly what we missed last year but also what Grealish does at his best but maybe has lost from his game.

He's a decent passer and finisher. Not rapid quick but pretty nible and balanced looking. Has quick feet which make him good at nicking the ball. Likes a tackle.

He's all right foot so won't ever solve our LB problem?

In summary. I see why we are in. Sub £50m is a good buy. Will have to work hard on winning a regular 1st team starting spot but the sought of competition we need. Could step in to where we have used Kovacic or Bernado in the past. A good buy.
Hes 6ft 1

Reijnders looks a top top player, abit like Maccalister at Liverpool where he’s very good at everything you need a midfielder to be good at, like a young Gundogan, we just need a creative machine (Cherki) but STILL need a world class winger that can help Haaland with our goal output. Savio and Doku dont get nearly enough g/a, Olise or Leao would be perfect
Think that's where Rodrygo comes in . . .

Hes no basketball player, but i wouldn't call 1.85m (6ft) on the small side, in fact for us hes fucking massive :)
