He got Reijnders done for low money and that was helped by Milan not being in Europe. Lyon are in an even dire situation so hopefully it works on this one too.

I got blasted for saying something similar last week. Was told that it’s negotiations and that’s just how it is.

From a Lyon perspective if I’ve spent hours negotiating with somebody, he leaves then bids a few hours later with an offer lower than what had been discussed then I’d be well annoyed! Haha.

Football is a mad world but transfers - and the bollocks that come with them - seem to have a mind of their own.
