PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

What I feel management would be happy with clearing the name and going forward
Tone with club was never confrontational, it has always been coming clean
Once verdict comes in our favour fans would want club to go after Pl and Pl clubs whether or not law allows is different thing but Club MAY not want to do that otherwise we can keep on suing the clubs for damages win and pass PSR with even more flying colors
I would say if we're found to be innocent of the charges our owners could and should take the PL to court.

Even if we wouldn't win that case, even if there's no precedent for it and the PL threaten to kick us out of the league, we really should get that issue (the PL doing a witch hunt) into the public domain and let the media do the rest.

Gorton would love to take down this shower of shite, but suspect our grinning beards are too much of gentleman not to pursue this course of action.

A few publications are picking up on the tweet and the footmercato Inter story now:

So far, Inter has not issued an official statement on these allegations, but this scandal has opened a wide debate about the integrity of Italian football and the need for deep reforms in the financial management of clubs.

Italian authorities are expected to launch an official investigation to clarify these shocking claims. /Telegraph/
Can anyone find an article from the telegraph?

Also, I noticed this from December 2021:

That was to do with player sales though. There's been quite a few finance scandals at Juve and Inter etc in just the last 5 years but nobody seems interested when it's not City being questioned for anything. Funny that.

All I can say is that my understanding is that Big K definitely knows the outcome (as does Masters and the PL board) but the two parties have agreed to delay the formal publication of the outcome at the PL's request, who will not come out of this well.

This bit is pure speculation on my part but my hypothesis is that they need time to quietly headhunt a new CEO.
Michael Corleone likes your idea, he also recommends other head hunting to be done on the culprits of the mischief.

Over simplistic and wholly wrong. You are effectively asserting that in each litigation in human history every parties’ legal representatives come out and think they’ve done well, and thereby it’s gone well for their clients. This simply isn’t correct.

Not sure where I got that from. Probably here

Most of the time people go into hearings thinking they have the better of the arguments but one side loses

And obviously I wasn't asserting that "in every single case in human history, somebody thinks this". Nobody could possibly presume that in any statement made by anybody ever, they meant that level of generality rather than a piece of loose hyperbole.

It would be like someone pulling you up on calling some journo a **** and saying, "sorry GDM that is wholly wrong. The person in question is actually an adult human male and a vagina is only a genital that some people possess rather than the holistic totality of their being".

How's about instead we give each other the benefit of the doubt that we're probably going to say things in a generalised way that don't literally apply in every case ever?

The guy is a fantasist. The club have absolutely no idea how it has gone.

I wish people would stop posting this WUM here
Fucking twitter. I honestly don't think some people have figured out why every post they see reinforces their own views and agrees with what they think.

The inter story will never take off in the press unless that Pinto bellend adds his name to the story and the fat prick masters says it's something to do with us.

can we all get back on topic please

Off topic.

Here’s how United are cooking the books and passing PSR, etc.

"Everybody is looking at the New York company - Manchester United plc but there is another company called Red Football which is owned by the Glazers and that is forming the basis of the PSR calculation.

"The losses at Red Football Ltd are far lower than they are at Manchester United plc so therefore the extent of the damage is far less than originally envisaged."

Exactly what I think too. At the scouse trophy lift although Masters was alongside Hansen who handed it over, the cameraman definitely moved the angle at that moment so he’s out-of-shot. He tried to put on a smiley (“business as usual”) brave face, as people do who’ve been told privately they’ve got the chop. There were people on here saying headhunters had appointed, as I recall - some months ago. Masters is a walking disaster.
They are just tea leaves boys. Nothing more, just tea leaves.

FFS, City are even being linked to the possible Inter Milan scandal.

The allegations are totally different.

MSN, Yank, cunts!

Just as Manchester City faces similar allegations in the Premier League, Inter Milan now finds itself on the precipice of disaster.

Nobody can be sure that anything is categorically true or not, no matter what they say. Including @Prestwich_Blue and @BillyShears. All they can do is tell us what they have heard. And neither will tell us who their source is. So it's up to each of us to weigh it all and make our own minds up.
Oh I can 100% be sure that we haven't been given the verdict and are just sitting on it to for the sake of the PL. Or vice versa. Because that is fucking lunacy!

And because literally every person of any relevance whatsoever at the club has publicly said so.

So Khaldoon is a man of truth when it comes to talking about our innocence, but an flat faced liar when he is debunking our conspiracy theories? Aye ok.
