Why is there not a statue of Yaya?

I think the fact that his agent was a complete arsehole and Yaya did nothing to discourage him from making scurrilous statements about the club was at least partly to blame as well as Yaya’s own ridiculous comments about birthday cakes.
 
Can't give them all statues. On his game when he could be arsed, he was better than anybody, including kdb, Silva, aguero etc. He didn't have the same mentality as the rest though to do it for 90 minutes every week and wasn't here long enough. I'd kill for a prime Yaya in this squad though.

He has a place in any all time City 11 for me. His performance at Newcastle the week before the QPR game was immense. He walked on the pitch that afternoon knowing nothing was going to stop him from pushing City to the title and it remains my favourite 90mins from a City player. As important as KDB and Silva. We jumped the gun with individual statues, we should have waited and done one encompassing this whole period of City. Aguero, Kompany, Silva, Yaya and KDB together. Peps gonna have one so we could have done something encompassing all of them.

12/13 Yaya was absolutely world class. Made everyone else look like 5 year olds.
