Postecoglou Gone

He had the most losses in the league by a non-relegated team in PL history.

Had he stayed it could have ended up like Ten Haag all over again, but for them.

He is very lucky the bottom 3 were so poor and the teams around him were as erratic as they were because 5 years ago they would have gone down.

The only notable team they beat in the Europa League was an Eintracht Frankfurt team that finished 3rd in the Bundesliga, but lost their best player in Marmoush in January.

He did seem to have the players on his side, but the fan-base was very divided.

I think it was best for both parties and he left a winner, Spurs got a trophy, and they can go again clean slate next year.

United should have done the same with Ten Haag.

Levy going down the Chelsea route, reminiscent of how they treated Di Matteo and Benitez after winning European trophies
Difference being Chelsea were always willing to back the replacements financially, even if it has turned out it was with crooked Putin money
Levy will still expect the replacement to polish turds with an impossible budget. Despite the new stadium basically printing money

This is a tough one. First trophy in forever yes, but also they finished SEVENTEENTH. I don't think that's quite sunk in.

Think given their league form it’s the right decision.

They have champs league football so they are going to be attractive the summer to potential suitors. If they waited a year and likely had no champs league football they prob wouldn’t be able to attract the same calibre of manager.

I think it will be frank and I think he will do very well

Ive never really gotten the idea that one season in the cl makes u a massively attractive prospect for a multi year contract

I know folk are on about the final league posistion but at the start of last season they would have ripped your hand of for a trophy but CL football on top !!!!!!
Levy probably banking that money on posh seats

Aside from the income for the club, CL football is the last thing that squad needs at present. It's not like they finished 6th, they only avoided relegation because the bottom 3 were so terrible this season.

Trying to think of a manager who had the 4th most successful season, won a cup for the first time in ages for the club but still rightfully got sacked.

He was an obnoxious twat in interviews so I hope he goes abroad.
