Hope they can re-boot. Napoli did.
Their owner was going to put £3M of his own money in to save them but it was stopped by UEFA because it would have put the financial future of the club in danger /s

Ex-Leeds nutjob Massimo Cellino was the current owner, they managed to avoid relegation this season from Serie B, but it turned out there was issues with the finances and the relegation playoff was postponed.
Brescia were dedeucted 4 points relegating them and (briefly possibly) giving Sampdoria a reprieve as they now are in the said playoff games.

Yeah it was Andrea Radrizzani but like you said it looks like he moved on last season, seems the ownership of Sampdoria is a greay area.

Odd a club goes bust owing 3 million yet some clubs spend money like it grows on trees and have over 1.2 billion in debt.
