International Games | 4th - 11th June '25

It'll be a bit of a pisser for "ze Germans" if they lose here. Hosting the "tournament" (yes, it was only the semi finals and the final and 3rd place playoff), but to "only" finish 4th will be a disappointment.

He is a good coach. Coaching a national team is different obviously - those players barely play together
 
Maybe this is hyperbole as I dont know them well enough...

But Germanys squad seems so mediocre?

Other than Wirtz where are the truly great players?

Edit: forgot musiala.

I find it hard to see them challenging Spain, Porugal, France, Argentina etc in the near future.

Been saying it. They have no special players beside Wirtz and Musiala. The level of players drop completely. They are lucky that other good nations have a weak generation too.
Nowhere near England and France in terms of squad quality.
 
Well they had 11 injuries. Hard to tell from these two games what they are capable of.
 
If Portugal were going to play with a midfielder at right-back, why wouldn’t they play Nunes?
