There is so much copium on the thread.
This is a mod:

We have one of the lowest net spends over the last 5 years (or 10 years I think according to bluecitybrain 's (what tf is his BM handle, and can he please ask a mod to change it to the same as his twitter one - as per ProjectRiver/slbsn :-) ) very accurate analysis of all clubs) - and that's a proper use of a "net" figure not a stupid one year thing. Obviously doesn't include wages, but that is a lot harder to accurately locate (and as @slbsn states, don't look at Crapology...)

The money we pump into the game is the same/less than united (TWGC dontchaknow), it's just that we recycle it for the benefit of the club, they have spent a decade+ spending money to try and compete and now the piper wants paying due to abysmal management, 'This is manchstaNitid' bollox attitude, and the fact they have been screwed since 2005, but it's only now just started really noticeably accelerating and circling the drain.

Cashflow is king... and they are paupers at that now..

They also keep wittering on about Mancini getting a '2nd wage' ... it's there in black and white...he was paid for Al Jez consultancy (not the media company)... and it's nothing to investigate. It's a 2nd job, which just happened to tie him up, so he couldn't go elsewhere. shady...no. Clever, astute and legal, yes.
They really do miss the elephant in the room fact that UEFA, CAS and now the PL have never asked Mancini about it... because it's normal business.
As alluded to earlier on by many almost everywhere...until HMRC and plod want to barge into the CFG, it's just bollox. There is only one club (near) manchester having longterm issues with HMRC, and it isn't City.
