The 'they are signing good players to replace great players' is laughable when you consider the comments pundits have made about every single signing we have made. KDB 'I dont see it' , Haaland 'wrong club', Yaya, Rodri, Silva, Walker,as being not good enough and likely to fail, then as they leave its these are great players and your not replacing them with great players. We've signed three great talents, none of them might make the heights of the players they are replacing, but our track record under these owners and with this manager makes me think that in 5, 6, 7 years time everyone will be saying how hard it is to replace great players.

Let them belittle our players, let them blow smoke up the red cartel, I believe it works in our favour.

We didn’t get the targets of Alexis Sanchez, Jorginho, Van Dijk, Maguire, Kane etc. The players City did get more than showed their worth winning four in a row, a treble, a domestic quadruple and 100 points. They are desperate for City to fail, these new faces and also new people challenging Pep on the coaching staff feels like a reset and I can see a lot of the logic of why it’s happened. Nothing is guaranteed in football but it feels like we are a lot better prepared to compete in season 25/26 than where we were last Summer.
 
All publications should be forced to present their "News" as opinion pieces or if they present it as fact they should be forced to show their "Working out" to show how they came to the conclusions they print.

That would pretty much end the grift they have at the minute of getting their news from central agencies and embellishing it in cartel dust.

I read an incredible post from one of the cult relating to our recent signings particularly the labelling of Rayan Cherki as world class.
“It’s impossible to buy world class players that cheaply. They take years to develop”
In the next sentence “ We are paying so much for Wirtz because he is world class”

Wirtz is 9 months older than Cherki.

Omar Marmoush delivered better stats than Wirtz in Bundasliga last season and he only played up to January in it.

There used to be a saying about today's news being tomorrow's fish & chip wrapping. In the digital age, news (and commentary on it) has taken on an even greater transience.
Much of the commentary literally doesn't matter. Sometimes this happens within a few hours, let alone by tomorrow.
We all rush around (myself included) with our thoughts immersed in the flickering characters on our phone screens. We don't like to admit it but we are urgently seeking our next dopamine rush.
Truth and legitimate consideration have become casualties the rush to supply our demand. There simply isn't a paying audience for longer, more nuanced news anymore.
News gets dumbed down. Journalists become disillusioned. The people are bombarded with bullshit. The race to the bottom accelerates.
Our is a flashy Dark Age. There's as much point in holding the likes of Ogden to account for remarks made months previously as there is in asking a mayfly what it thinks of Christmas. (Similar intellectual capacity and all).
The best thing to do is withhold our attention. Not only for the good of our own mental health but because in these times, our attention is one of the things that makes our being here a valuable commodity.
If some twats like Ogden or Talkshite or Sky's gallery of gibbering idiots say something dumb. Let them. Move on.
Highlighting their remarks - especially after any decent length of time - only endows them with a gravity to which they were never entitled.

It will end up going to 48 teams and played every other year whenever the Euros/ World Cup isn't on instead of every 4 years.

The cartel are on their way then to start of a super league.
