Priced out? | Club announce that matchday tickets being reduced by up to 43% (p93)

True, though not sure how much Viagogo or the resellers will impact fans now, with the new prices and increased capacity coming. The only thing I'd add is to reintroduce loyalty points for matchday sales in the bigger games.
Tickets are being sold by resellers tagged as hospitality that simply have a meal at a city restaurant tagged on. The tickets can be for any seat in the stadium and don’t have checks to ensure the purchaser is a City fan. It’s therefore possible for any one of us to be sat next to a rival fan at any game. Let’s see how the new season unfolds and hopefully it won’t be a huge issue.

Another great results for the fans. There's been a definite change in attitude by the club since the protests. The new Flexi Gold system, the 1500 new STs released this season, the commitment of at least 4000 new STs next season and now this. Thank you to all who protested and the CityMatters reps who met with the Club, quite some legacy for @Alex - City Matters as his term ends.

And not a Zebra pant amongst them.

The club shouldn't need telling or embarrassing, but fair play to them for both listening, and eventually acting positively on this matter ....
They shouldn't but I feel we need to separate the club from the people working for the club at times.

If we're talking about Soriano, he's so far departed from me and you that he might as well be in a different universe.

But then somebody like Danny Wilson, who is much closer to the fans than any other execs at the club, has probably been trying to get his point across on this for years and the protests and visibility of them has really helped bring it to Khaldoon etc. attention

Absolutely. ‘The Club’ does my head in sometimes. And things like the 10 match minimum attendance for ST holders seems like rules for rules sake. However I have lot of contact with the guys who work for the disability team. And they are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. If they say they’ll ring you at 5 when youve finished work, you can set your watch by it.

How long until Magic Twat and his ilk paint this wonderful move as “City dropping prices, ready for their demotion to league two” etc.

This is a wonderful decision from the club and huge hats off to all those who campaigned so peacefully, and successfully. Great to see.

This is great news. Got my nephew a ticket for the Bournemouth match for £63. As it reads, next year would be £50. Nearer the ballpark he could pay - probably not in the same seat but elsewhere.
Am a ST holder but glad tp.have been part.of the.protests and THEY CAN WORK.
Let noone say otherwise.

A heartfelt well done to all involved.

But at least the Category A games will just be Salford, Accrington and Oldham :)

Congrats to Kevin Parker, who apparently orchestrated this all on his own without any need for the other fan groups or the protests.

Fantastic to have such a leviathan in charge. Not sure why he waited literally years until the protests started in order to exert his influence but praise be that he did.

I’m might have missed it, but have they announced the date yet of the annual July wallet-draining day for all us Citizens?
