Tino Livramento

Maybe say no deal other wise
We should walk away then, our team is more important than their timing.

Ola Aina counts as homegrown, is just as good and would be a lot cheaper.
We should go for him & hope our academy can provide a RB in a few years.

I don’t know about the guaranteed start with TAA and James being there. Especially when we use the „ big club method“ than TAA is literally starting for the Real Madrid which would mean he is #1 RB now with Walker declining and out of sight. Livramento should make the team regardless but I don’t think moving to City would make him a starter. Look at Bellingham. Moved to Madrid and is the undisputed #10 of the national team without even being one.
LB is open. As long as Livramento remains fit he could start

If our team have decided he is the one, then the only timing that matters is 1st September

It's a forum and we're here for opinions. I don't think either player is worth £80m.

If the club go for it and Livramento turns out to be a resounding success, I'd be more than delighted to be proven wrong!
Worth isn’t the point, only questions really are is he the best option, is he available, are the club happy to pay the price. Fine having an opinion on whether he’s the best option, having one on what the club are happy to pay is a bit pointless, in my opinion.

We’ve done it before, like Nico in January; they wanted to keep him till they’ve qualified for the next stage in Europe! If you know anything about how we do business, we are a nice club always willing to help..

I’d pay £ 80m, no problem, for the lad.

Apologies, I thought a forum was for discussion and opinion. Lesson learned, I'll check the forum rules to be more up to speed with what we're allowed to have an opinion on, and what we're not.

There goes another on the ignored list.

Is Aina home grown? Hadn’t realised. From the games I’ve watched the eye test says Aina is the better of the 2 but maybe that’s because he provides more attacking returns? Also he is a few years older than Livramento. Any idea what sort of fee he’d command?

Thought it was just for your opinion with no opposite opinions offered okay.

He was born in London and was at the chavs as a kid.
I like him from what i've seen. He seems more defensive minded to me which would suit us if Ait-Nouri's going to be roaming on the left.
Apparently Forest activated a clause in his contract for another season, so no idea how much he'd cost or if he's available. Got to be worth asking though.

The issue with Aina is Forest will price him out of a move especially to a rival (their owner will see us as one). Got to start thinking moving away from the Premier League when it comes a new RB. We were fortunate with Ait-Nouri as Wolves are nowhere near in directly challenging us for a Champions League spot.

Only a year left on his contract, they might be happy to get a fee for him.

Still a valuable player to them and Forest will want to go that bit further seeing they had a realistic chance of sneaking into the Champions League.

Aina, really? One solid season at forest and he's suddenly a viable target for us? He's a respectable midtable player, has been his entire career, will continue to be for what remains of it. He's also 29 before the turn of the year.

Nunes is currently better and shows much more potential and Rico Lewis being club trained makes him a better shout and he too shows more potential. Do some people want us challenging with United for midtable mediocrity or something?

The thinking was that he is AT and we need AT players.
