They might refute the claim that they're Irish, in BallymenaApparently the Irish know "how to get it done", that seems to be the general consensus on Twitter.

Not necessarily but that's for another thread. I'm from Coleraine in which there has been rioting but in same scale as Ballymena. My friend runs a men's group in Coleraine as he's arranged to hand out whistles free to any females in town centre today. He's getting stick as 'what good will that do etc etc'. Another friend had to collect his younger sister who lives few yards from where the rioters set bins on fire blocking railway line. But they are Irish though aren't they? Is this like a reverse scouse thing?
Yep.This thread wont make it past one page ;-)
Meeting my mate tonight from Coleraine, I'll get an update. Not necessarily but that's for another thread. I'm from Coleraine in which there has been rioting but in same scale as Ballymena. So it's not just restricted to Ballymena then? There's an argument going all over social media about how this isn't really about protecting women or fighting against S. abusers as abusers like Colin Gault walked free and there was little or no uproar in Ballymena. Regardless I am all for protecting women and children but like in every situation, there are always a few who have other things in mind when they join a protest like thisNot necessarily but that's for another thread. No it's in quite a few places. The idiots in Larne burnt their own leisure centre os people had been put in there after fleeing their homes. So it's not just restricted to Ballymena then? So basically it's a "Tommy Morrison" type protest disguised as a protest against S. abusers? No it's in quite a few places. The idiots in Larne burnt their own leisure centre os people had been put in there after fleeing their homes.
A very good friend of mine has been going through court case re her teenage daughter and her ex (not the girls father). Guy been found guilty but people in Coleraine happy to play golf with him, happy to have pint etc. She's been asking where was the uproar for her daughter.
I know of at least 3 hard working families been put out so far. One Polish family had house petrol bombed
Seems mainly to be that in a few places. There have also been a few respectful peaceful protests over concerns re woman's safety in general but they won't make the newsSo basically it's a "Tommy Morrison" type protest disguised as a protest against S. abusers?
The kind of bollocks we saw over here after SouthportWhat exactly is going on out there? Lots of crazy videos about houses being burnt by a group or something, anyone out there who can give some more information on this?
I think it might have been on the news every day mate. What exactly is going on out there? Lots of crazy videos about houses being burnt by a group or something, anyone out there who can give some more information on this?
It's actually getting very little coverage.I think it might have been on the news every day mate.
You took your time.Great to see protestants and catholics alike united in Northern Ireland. Never thought we'd see the day - nothing like a bit of racism to bring sectarian folk together.
Seems reasonable to assume burning down the leisure center/random homes and cars that might belong to immigrants and throwing bricks at the cops isn't really about advocating for the victims of sexual assault. Is this from the recent situation? he's talking about resources and the rioters are talking about S.A on a teenage girl. The entire thing is confusing.
