Looks like Gundo & Kova are leaving (given the new Captain group) so there'll be a vacancy. I repeat Livramento isn't coming and Wharton would be a better option as an HG recruit that Aina. Apart from been a rag(and we should have a no more rag ever rule) he is also not very good.Livramento isn't coming, Aine is too old and there are very few other HG candidates so I reckon we should get Dalot out of the swamp. Wants to leave the rag train wreck, already settled in Manchester, Madrid are sniffing allegedly so why not have a bid?
Can play both sides, quick, strong and big mates with half our captain group.

If we can make the squad space then for the price of Wesley, we could probably get Vanderson which would be the better signing imo.

Honestly I really don’t know, if we can’t get Livramento, can’t really think of a homegrown alternative, maybe the club can. Alternatively can they rejig the squad to get a non homegrown option. Last resort would be to go with Nunes and maybe one of the centre backs, not that I’ve ever seen him but could Reis play there ?I think I agree about Wharton but what are your thoughts ? Bit late now but the right back recriyment issue we have is down to the HG rule so still don't know why we didn't get Robinson instead of Ait Nouri.
Him being homegrown would have meant we could bring in a non HG right back and open up a lot more options. Would also not have missed a few games for African cup of nations.

The only suitable HG candidate is not coming and space has to be made to accommodate one on the free list although here again there are not many options. I would settle for Dalot because we need the finished article in his prime. I agree Pep just doesn't want good players festering on the bench or not in the matchday squad and that won't be happening next season.
