Middle East Conflict | Netanyahu orders strikes on Gaza (p1161)

I saw a video of some Israeli's who've fled their beloved country and pitched up in France. Obviously there were Palestinian sympathisers booing their arrival.
What struck me was the behaviour of a tall blond draped in an Israeli flag. Prancing around like Mick Jagger.

Gazans subjected to two years of bombardment and death and confined to the Gaza strip. No exit by land, sea or air. And yet this woman a couple of sleepless nights and she's off with her 2nd passport

Haaretz has just done a fuckin poll where 82% of Israli jews want all Palestinians cleared out. Near 50% want them wiped out.

Don't give me that bollocks of Israelis just want peace and Palestinians don't.

Good point. I think Israelis are truly surprised that people think they're in the wrong here.

They just can't get the heads round the fact that after 60,000 killed, Gaza levelled and god knows how many people with life changing injuries, we are not too sympathetic to whatever minor suffering they are experiencing currently. All brought on by them preemptively attacking another country.

Netanyahu's revelations came during an interview with FOX News on Sunday's Special Report.

'You just said Iran tried to assassinate President Trump twice. Do you have intel that the assassination attempts on President Trump were directly from Iran?' host Bret Baier pressed the Israeli Prime Minister.

'Through proxies, yes. Through - through their intel, yes. They want to kill him. Look, he's enemy number one. He's a decisive leader, ' Netanyahu replied.

'Look, they also tried to kill me, but I'm his junior partner,' the Israeli Prime Minister concluded.

I’m really not surprised, as you described.
I haven’t responded here for a long time,
because I’m aware of how public opinion has shifted as October 7th has faded into the past.
Leaving friends in captivity is inhumane —
but even that isn’t the reason I suddenly commented here.
It’s the attack on Iran —
the terrifying enemy, the head of the snake, the threat we’ve feared for 30 years.
And suddenly there’s a sense of pride —
that they, despite all their nuclear threats and their openly stated desire to wipe Israel off the map —
are now being humbled.

So Robbie’s isn’t just another state —
it’s the greatest threat to the entire world,
and we’re apparently putting them in their place right now.
In time, everyone will understand what a huge achievement — I hope — is taking shape here.

Sorry but I've heard all this before.
Saddam Hussein, Bashir Assad, Abdul Nasser, The Shah, Yasser Arafat. All at some time or other the greatest threat.
The West, and I include Israel in this as it's the bastard child of the USA, are racist. We think we're superior. We think Arabs and others are untrustworthy.
Let me remind you that Iran is the longest surviving country on earth whilst Israel is not much older than me.
