I'm a big fan of Sade and Amy Winehouse. Both had their own style and both also great songwriters, Sade seems to have quit the music Business never really being comfortable as a big star.
Her albums seem to have a ten year gap much to the frustration of her bandmates..

One album I really love is Guilty by Barbara Streisand and Barry Gibb.
Her voice is so pure and beautiful on that record.

Bonny Raitt is a fine singer and a master of the slide guitar.
I fell in love with Christine Perfect-McVie, a very good writer and keyboard player.
Dusty Springfield was full of soul.
Susanna Hoffs is beautiful. (Manic Monday was written by Prince.)
Judith Durham had a beautiful, pure voice.
Elkie Brooks, Manchester’s own jazzy queen.
Sandy Denny had a lovely voice.
