Tevez at socceraid...

Great player, always worked his socks off, proper let us down in 2011/12 season but luckily it's a season remembered fondly and he ended up contributing massively to it.

Good to see him still rattling United fans.

Funny thing is, after all these years, the United fans still don't understand the 'RIP Fergie' banner at the parade. Not sure how they haven't clocked that it was in reference to his comments 'not in my lifetime'.
Are these the same rags, who never understood the point of the "Welcome To Manchester!" poster?

Probably.

This thing is probably the worst thing on telly all year. I would actually prefer to watch back to back episodes of Call The Midwife and Downton Abbey than this utter shite. It’ll probably end up at our place once the rags start building their 500,000 seat stadium too.
It's like celebrity boxing. It sounds quite good in the promo until you realise that watching amateurs do a sport is pretty boring. They should do it with other sports too. 100 metres aid. A bunch of middle-aged celebrities lining up alongside Usain Bolt. Tennis-aid. Andy Murray firing full-speed serves at Jimmy Carr's face.

Many a time last season did i wish we had a Tevez type player. Our players can be too polite and lacklustre on occasions. Some matches seemed to fade away.
We need an "angry" player. Somebody to give energy and real tornado on the field!
Tev played like someone had his kids held hostage...

Because of the same reason they still don't get the "WELCOME TO MANCHESTER" sign.

They're fucking idiots.

I thought Luke Shaw took his goal well for the winner

Don't know whys he playing for the rest of the world though
That's exactly what I said at the time.

Do you reckon he knows he's often referred to in the same sentence as Gregg's on this forum?

All of the unbelievable signings we've made over the years whether it was Zabaleta, Kompany, Silva, De Bruyne or Aguero...

Tevez was my favourite "signing" , He's not my favourite all time City player but it's the signing I enjoyed the most as a City fan if that makes sense.

For Tevez to leave the Rags and join us was absolutely class and funny as fuck, It was the signing that hit home the most even more so than Robinho that really stamped authority of the direction of the club.

A player of the calibre of Tevez to turn down a contract at the Rags managed by baconface to join not only another Premier League club but their rivals is unheard of!

The signing, The "Welcome To Manchester", The Rags Meltdown...Everything about it was fucking mint.

One of my favourite all-time City players. And I was there in Munich (via fucking coach - 25 hours!) when he decided not to come on.

Wish he'd have stayed for longer. He dragged us through that 12/13 season on his own. And a few seasons before that too.

The jump in quality from before he joined to after was ridiculous. First time I'd realised I was watching a bloke who was absolutely world class. He gave me the feeling I thought I'd get with Robinho but didn't.

We'd seen players play well in patches but he was just good, constantly. A level above everybody else.
