PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Not sure what you are getting at? The sanction would be a points deduction not relegation in and of itself.

If the sanction is decided before the end of the coming season, any points deduction would come into effect straight away unless suspended pending appeal.
Technically the punishment might not be relegation but they could find away or they could in affect make that happen and I am sure the championship would accept us.

My point is that it’s now to late for it to be for this coming season with the fixtures out tomorrow even if there was no appeals

Good point.

i wonder, does that mean the PL are aware of the verdict. Or are they just carrying on regardless, like they do.

PL have no choice but BAU, it is only a liability hearing and open to appeal before a sanction one anyway.

In simple terms guilty or not, there is no chance we’re not playing Prem football next season.

If we win and it’s probably unlikely to be 300
pages of City are right Prem where wrong.

Even if it goes in our favour bits of the judgment will be against us.

I think Prem would give an arsey statement, point to those but ultimately move on.

If the Prem appeal given they have already paid us £20 million in costs on APT and this must be £30-40 million.

They would be upsetting a lot of members who don’t play in red.

They will also try and play some moral high ground to save face.

Be great if we could get a vote of no confidence on Masters.

Owt appened yet ??? FFS

We'll be in the PL next season guaranteed - emails are ready to go out to clubs at about 08:30 I understand (so they can all ping out their statement at 9AM) - dont ask me how I know.
Emails regarding the charges or the fixture list? -:)

Oh yea, how do you know this? Is this a job, push the big red button. Can I apply?

Really no idea how that was your take away. I think the liability decision is imminent and literally say that in the substack. When imminent is, who knows. This week, next week?

English is not my first language so do forgive me if I misunderstood this passage, but I read "we may not have a final pre appeal decision on both liability and sanction" as we're not going to have a decision on liability, and also were not gonna have a decision on sanction. Again, apologies if I misunderstood.Screenshot_20250617_232451_Firefox.jpg

What will go against us, genuinely interested in what you think will
