Fixtures Calendar - 2025/26

What fucks me off is Liverpool being the first game on tv.

When we won the league we was never on first, it’s always been the rags or the tramps. Last year they had the rags and Fulham on the Friday night.

Looks like another red cartel wankfest incoming.
We were once. In 2023 when Burnley were promoted and Vinny in charge.

But that's the only time I've known it.

So so boring with another Rag and Dip fest coming along.

From a Gooner perspective we get the chance to go to Old Toilet on matchday 1 and remind them that they aren't 'back' and are in for another shit season. Don't let us down Mikel.

1st 3 away games are Rags, Dippers and Barcodes. Then a home match with City. Very tough start.
But you've got on paper and easier finish compared to us and Liverpool

I'd like to point out that all games versus so called top teams are home first, leaving us to go to them all second half of the season.
Away at Arsenal, Villa and Newcastle plus Brighton who will do well next season I think, all before the end of November. Those teams finished 5th, 6th and 8th so only Chavs and Dippers to play away starting Jan 26.

Why does that fuck you off? You want as much time to prepare as possible and you don't want to play on a Friday night over a saturday/sunday.

You’ve no chance of winning there coz I heard Sky quoting Cuhna is the new Cantona, Rueben is the next Pep and they’re going to be the best team in the world, how can you argue with that?

Joke that from the three sets of mid week games, 7th Jan, 4th Feb and 11th March all our three are at home, along with Everton we’re the only teams to been given these fixtures.

Just the Dippers and Rags get to play all their league games at a weekend or the festive break, that’s not a random thing, it’s been done purposefully to ensure those two clubs maximise match day revenue with tourists.

We won’t sell out those games,

City v Brighton on the 7th Jan
City v Fulham 11th Feb
City v. Forest 4th March

It doesn’t matter to me, I’ll be at all the games and I’m retired but it’s shit for the working fans, those who take kids and those who travel for the games.
Well it looks like Sky had the fixtures way before they were published at 9am this morning. Now this has been a theory for years. So they could set up their super Sunday games.

Alan Brazil said at 8am this morning that he had the fixtures, but couldn’t say anything until 9. I’m betting Skys had them for a few weeks so they could organised what’s best for them and where they will get the bigger viewing figures

100%, always thought that.

First day, last day, Xmas and fewer midweek league games makes a huge difference on the commercial side for Clubs.

Fucking bent and corrupt

This is not a secret. The fixture list gets agreed by various people.

Everyone still plays Everyone twice....

But, IMO, better than having to traipse all over the country to an away game. We only have Fulham away midweek, which is a shitter as it is a great away day, but it's kind on the away fans.
Away games affect 3k, home games affect 50k, not better at all.

Any game in the middle of winter can be a pain.

As said elsewhere, this is to enable Rags and Dippers to maximise commercial sales at a weekend rather than have fans rushing to midweek games and darting off straight after, not spending money in the shop or having a meal etc.

It's not right and City have as much right and need to generate income as those 2 fucking bent American owned Clubs.

I notice Dippers are home first and last game.

Was I mistaken when I thought the last game alternated between seasons? Surely they should be away last game to Brentford?
