Think that is the accessible platform area, that I would assume they couldn't connect the rebar till the old roof propping was out the way.

The roof in those corners haven't improved aesthetically in the 10 years. They're still fugly!

I would say this wouldn't I.
The Etihad will be one of the best looking stadiums internally when the North stand expansion is finished.
Up there with Spurs, and the new Everton stadium.
Hopefully there will be a video screen in each corner of the Etihad.
