What are you watching on youtube right now?

Im getting fed up with reviewers on Youtube. Ebike reviews, game reviewers etc and usually I could discern the pap from the real. But I am seeing so many independent reviewers who are given a product to review, they then review it positively and provide a link to it at the bottom. Its basically an advert.

Really peeing me off right now because it seems to becoming everywhere, even once trusted reviewers.

And the AI voices are turgid dross, I ignore channels now that promote falsehoods and review bad products as good just so they earn.

Its a pandemic. I am trying to get a review of the Cyrusher Kommoda Ebike and every single one of the reviewers on YT have been sent the bike, asked to review it, and they provide a link for us to buy it. Its adverts but its across the whole of social media, Cyrusher must have sent out hundreds of free reviewers bikes.

With a lot more digging I have been able to find out how shit they are, broken when delivered, they dont do refunds! wtf, no customer service. Its all hidden away in ebike forums.

YT has become a scam just like they all do. Fake reviews on an industrial scale... all of it designed and coordinated to fleece us plebs. So fuck it, I am going Halfords its easier even if more expensive.

I am going full circle nowdays with the internet. Its just fake everything.. The only thing real any more is real life.

Even documentaries about history and science have delivered the "facts" behind a veil of political bias or just to fit a narrative the producer of the video has.

Then it's posted as fact lazy revisionism omitting facts and replaced with conjecture, it makes the teeth I have left itch like fuck :)
 
I'm currently watching episode 26 of some fucking boc bollocking on about a fucking bridge and a culverted river. What a load of shit - at my age I'm very much aware that time spent on such things is time wasted.

Well, I happened upon a truthful review about 'Boxabl' where I thought, like Garlic Bread, it's the future.

But, alas...
