They'd have won fuck all if Klopp didn't have rules that allowed VVD to foul in the box with impunity and special rules relating to offside.
Not forgetting a clear handball by TAA they go up the other end and score.

Did Kolo Toure play for Liverpool when Pepijn Lijnders was coaching there?
It could explain why Kolo was taken to the CWC as a coach with his links to City and understanding of Lijnders methods and philosophy to add to proper Pep's armoury with the players. There does seem to be a shift in the game to a high energy, more direct style compared to more possession based football that Pep has used so successfully.
I guess City are looking to employ the best of both styles.

yes a lot of things went wrong last season. Can only get better which ain't bad as somehow we still ended up 3rd!Interesting. Also feels like a subtle (maybe not-so) dig to whoever it was before.
Not wholly convinced it was a happy camp last season.

Whilst there is the inevitable Liverpool love-in, there is no doubt that the squad look far more energised and a damn sight happier than they did for much of last season. Long may it continue.

Viewing the last two games in the US, I think we also need to give James French a pat on the back since taking over set pieces we've looked far more structured in attacking the ball rather than hopeful.

It's so fucking weird how social media rats targeted Lillo, one the the greatest football thinkers in the history of the game within the actual industry, and saw he had grey hair so decided he was useless.
I have so little respect for these "casual tacticos". They don't know how Lillo is so just randomly make up shit about him. Same as everyone else. Pep L is a "Klopp disciple" despite the fact he's absolutely not. We won a header at a corner so the new set piece coach is wonderful.
I'm getting pretty fucking irritated with opinions of idiot football fans. Might just leave the online space altogether idk.
