Gutted for him. Hopefully the protective boot/crutches are just precautionary, and he won't be out for too long. It looked a bad one at the time though, the way his ankle got caught beneath him.

Fractured my ankle doing that kind of movement in the first few minutes of a game and finished the match so it's definitely possible he's done some serious damage.

Didn't really notice it properly until i started the drive home.
