Rags champions league money!!I'd prefer if the participating clubs got a percentage and the rest is spread through their league. A bit like what Auckland are doing apparently.
But, clubs have been happy to bank champions league money without a thought to the rest of their league for decades, so I'm mot going to get too upset about it.
When the rags, scousers, tarquins etc give up some of "their" champions league money then I'll start screaming about how unfair this club world cup is.
The times I have are kick off times 2am Orlando and 8pm Miami. Not correct, finish first in group we play 9pm 30th in Orlando or finish 2nd we play 3pm 1st in Miami

I cannot see any 3pm kick offs in the whole of the competition.
I am using UK time.
Agree with this, the dippers think they should be there and they may have a point and the rags just see themselves falling further and further behind us.You’re never going to get a nation watching in numbers like you do for an international team World Cup, team support is too tribal. If we weren’t in it I’d be giving it a wide berth too, I wouldn’t want to watch my rival teams revelling in it and clocking up huge winnings.
You can bet they won’t want us or Chelsea to win it though, which is a form of recognising the competition for what it is.
Didn't someone who bought a ticket for an earlier game get a partial refund as it hadn't sold as well as expected? Something to do with 'dynamic pricing.'£1700 for the back row in the corner on the first level! Bargains :)
I hope they're not at the club world cup for at least as long as the banner they had of City not winning a trophy.Agree with this, the dippers think they should be there and they may have a point and the rags just see themselves falling further and further behind us.
In terms of income, there probably gonna be near 200m behind us in the next couple of years, and if you don't know cause I keep being told there the biggest club in the world.
How could they not be in CWC on that basis.
I bought tickets in advance for City in Atlanta and Orlando, I also got one for Flamengo v LAFC ( I was in town anyway and was interested in watching another game) and yes I got approximately 30% refunded for each game.Didn't someone who bought a ticket for an earlier game get a partial refund as it hadn't sold as well as expected? Ah so we are all correct. I like it when a plan comes together. Now for that prize money & for Haaland to confirm himself as one of the world's biggest stars in football/soccer terms. I want him to become more Drogba esque...apologies if anyone hated him...but to be a beast on the pitch that no one can match.I’m using local/USA time
9PM Monday USA = 2am Tuesday UK
3PM Tuesday USA = 8PM Tuesday UK![]()

Cool...good for you. I hope you enjoy the games and good on you for going all that way to support City.I bought tickets in advance for City in Atlanta and Orlando, I also got one for Flamengo v LAFC ( I was in town anyway and was interested in watching another game) and yes I got approximately 30% refunded for each game.

From a marketing point of view, America needs this enthusiasm injection pre world cup next summer, plus trial run the facilities etcThe next round of games will increase interest in this tournament. There’s some good games on paper coming up. This should have been played in Europe or South America for its first go. There’s more appetite. I’m looking forward to watching the elite Brazilians go up against a good euro side. If there was a red shirt team from here we’d have Coca Cola and Pepsi giving free pop out sun hats and sweat bands in the sun comic. The buses would be painted with the competition logo and we’d all be collecting stickers for our panini sticker book.

Seems laughable as every football fan learns of the River/Boca rivalry as a kid but with the well below average IQ of the red cartel fans it may just be trueLittle Englanders.
If they haven't heard of River Plate they might be best just sticking to the theatre.
They probably will when it gets to the later stages. Not sure about just yet. The European players will know that they aren’t in the best physical condition and that will diminish the tournament in their eyes. In City’s case it seem that Pep isn’t solely focused on winning it. He’s experimenting with formations and systems. City’s matches have both had a pre season vibe. It’s clearly not as intense as CL fixtures. That must affect how the players perceive the tournamentThat explains why Murphy was never an elite player. His views are also tainted by the fact his beloved Liverpool failed to qualify. You can be absolutely certain that the truly elite players from Real Madrid, PSG, City, Bayern, Juve, Inter Milan, River Plate, and Palmeiras (and the rest) will be busting a gut to become the first proper World Champions. That's what sets them apart from people like Danny Murphy.
Daft of me not to look at it like that. Maybe that’ll be the format going forward? From a marketing point of view, America needs this enthusiasm injection pre world cup next summer, plus trial run the facilities etc
Think u are wrong there pal , supporters of fans who bought via fifa and get refunded are the same seats for every club regardless of who gets to the final ,they just separated the allocated ends depending on which side of the draw your club was located in ,so in effect the same seats , there may be a few more come available say if the allocation is 2000 and say City only sold 500 before hand so 1500 ,but the other tickets for the clubs who do not get there are the same seats for the allocated finalists , the same section or allocation whatever that may beThere will definitely be tickets available for the final, as supporters of the teams who lost in the semi’s, if they bought via club/FIFA, can have tickets refunded. Of course, no idea what price they will be. If you want a shock, just check Ticketmaster now for the current prices [emoji15]
