Try asking PepRay, I might know where to get a pair of Ilkay's unwashed socks. Any interest in purchasing them?

why? we've no need for another midfielder we have over 10 here and just signed another for next season.I think he looks a hell of a talent and would be trying to do some deal with Perrone that allow us to get Paz early doors.
All he's doing by remaining here is blocking the path for Gonzalez, O'Reilly, Lewis, Cherki & Moose whilst also stopping us moving for MGW. He & several others will be gone in 12 months anyway. For this season he is still has a part to play then we can move him on for free.
Go nuts, throw in the Branthwaite rumour for Ake as well. :)All he's doing by remaining here is blocking the path for Gonzalez, O'Reilly, Lewis, Cherki & Moose whilst also stopping us moving for MGW. He & several others will be gone in 12 months anyway.
After the season we've had, we may as well make the transition from our injury plagued, ageing treble winning squad, to the new vibrant squad we're building.
City Transfers
Out:
KDB
Philips
Walker
Stones
Nunes
Gundog
Grealish
McAtee
Kovacic
In:
Livramento
Gibbs-white
We've nothing to lose & everything to gain by fully completing our evolution from old to new, plus Pep gets the smaller squad he desires.
I'd rather Guéhi, but yes, why not?Go nuts, throw in the Branthwaite rumour for Ake as well. :)
dont mind that eitherI'd rather Guéhi, but yes, why not?
That's subjective realistically. End of the day Quansah has featured for a title challenging premier league side and been called up the the senior national team. Doyle hasn't reached those levels yet. Add in Liverpool have just done a massive deal with Bayer where part of that negotiation could have involved agreeing a slightly over inflated Quansah price and it's not hard to see why he's gone for more.Doyle has been seen as a better prospect than Quansah throughout all the age groups and has shown nothing to change that. it's madness there could be that much difference in potential transfer fees. Another example of how cheaply we sell off talent. Of all the recent academy talent we've sold, Only palmer has gone for more than Quansah.
Nunes should be kept, he put in a decent shift at rb last season. Yes he made some mistakes, but he can still fill in as a cover for both rb and midfield. All he's doing by remaining here is blocking the path for Gonzalez, O'Reilly, Lewis, Cherki & Moose whilst also stopping us moving for MGW. He & several others will be gone in 12 months anyway.

We need more than players who can "put a shift in" mate. We're Manchester City fighting on all fronts at the apex of world football, not Sam Allardyce's Bolton.Nunes should be kept, he put in a decent shift at rb last season. Yes he made some mistakes, but he can still fill in as a cover for both rb and midfield.
I talking about from a negotiation perspective. What can we say about Doyle? He got subbed off at half time in the first game and never got his place back, he wasn't even close to getting it back tbh. I think you're definitely over egging the pudding describing him as an important part of the dippers squad.
Hoffenheim put in a bid of £6.5m for him.I talking about from a negotiation perspective. What can we say about Doyle?
It’s not even subjective, it’s in the eyes of those buying,if there were clubs fighting for Doyle or any player or we thought we could get more we would, like we did with Palmer, although we might take a longer term view with buy backs and sell on clauses. It’s not as if we are turning down big bids for players and selling cheap. That's subjective realistically. 5m ish (assuming they get 40)How much we would get from a transfer from Trafford to Newcastle?
Gundogan is still a better bet than MGW for this season and even though he is off Grealish. He would be a pointless signingAll he's doing by remaining here is blocking the path for Gonzalez, O'Reilly, Lewis, Cherki & Moose whilst also stopping us moving for MGW. I agree, but MGW (if he did come) wouldn't be replacing Gundogan.Gundogan is still a better bet than MGW for this season and even though he is off Grealish. He would be a pointless signing
If the options are keep nunes and Rico for one more year while keeping the money for a better option next summer, or overpaying for livramento right now to make sure we have no weak links in the squad, personally my vote is for the former. But that's only if we can identify someone we'd want to target next summer.
Well, stars always emerge. The crop of players that are good enough for man city this summer is different from what it was last summer. Reijnders, for instance. There isn’t anyone available at RB really is there, apart from Livramento.
Hakimi is the best in the world but no way he gets sold.
Livramento is about the next best and certainly that’s available. If we don’t buy him now there’s more chance of other clubs coming in for him next summer.
