Signings looked very good but what pleased me more was Doku and Savinho both having very good games and taking the correct options.
Nunes played well too.
Agree.
The three of them were great.
And they link fabulously with the new guys who look like they’ll have no trouble bedding in.

We might be back.

In my opinion that's the best 90mins we've put in for over 12 months.

It was also really fun to watch. Lots of movement off the ball, one touch passing, the midfield has pace and skill, when we where breaking them down there was a lot more “verticality” as Pep would say rather than side to side action.

It felt noticeably different to what we’ve been seeing since the treble season.

RIGHT !!
Where the fuck are all you fannies who did fuck all but moan before a ball had even been kicked and slagging off in no particular order, Doku, Savi, Nunes and Akanji and NOT one of them let us down.
For future reference why the fuck don`t you just keep it shut until the game is over, before making yourselves look clowns.
And breath Oakie ...

Real Madrid? Schmeal Madrid!

Bring it on!
Knowing our luck, they'll come second in their group and we'll end up playing them in the next round.
If Madrid do win, they'll be on the same side of the draw as PSG, Miami, Flamengo, Bayern, Monterrey, Juventus and Dortmund.
That side of the draw is packed with top teams.

Missed that one. What was the advice? In person or an online comment?

"advised him on improving his dribbling and end product. Henry emphasized that Doku, despite his impressive dribbling skills, didn't always need to dribble past defenders to create scoring opportunities or deliver effective crosses. He encouraged Doku to look up and assess the field, rather than solely focusing on the ball, and to understand when a simple pass or cross was more effective. Henry's advice aimed to help Doku balance his natural dribbling ability with better decision-making and improved end product."

“I’m looking at him and as you, always [gestures that Doku is always looking to dribble], I’m like when you do this, what do you see? Are you here, are you here [where Doku is currently stationed] or are you there [closer to goal]?”

While Ola Aina has pinpointed how dangerous Doku is, Thierry Henry encouraged him to look up while taking on a man to spot his striker’s movement as well.

“Because you do this [standing up his man] to see what you’re doing because you’re cooking here, I call it cooking, you’re cooking here but you see the movement of your [number] nine but you do this [look down], you don’t even know what’s happening [when the striker is inside the box] there. You don’t need to dribble past someone to give a cross, you don’t need to dribble past someone to give an assist.”

“It’s about balance, like everything in life.”

If the miserable cunts on here can't see what promise that has shown for the season ahead instead of saying it's pre season or Juve are shite or it's a friendly, then i fuckin despair, it's a trophy every team wants to win even if it's in it's infancy, to be first ever world champions in such a multi team tournament will be something, just cause the arsewipes and fuckwits in the sporting press over here aten't giving it credit
