They actually mentioned Eddie's transfer fee in the article about him staying. They can't mention us without money being attached.

I wonder in Euroland if they report the figures in pounds and dollars too like we do?

Only learnt this this morning when I was wondering why there's no longer the John Peel stage at Glastonbury. There was a petition started years ago to get the name changed. Didn't get many signatures but clearly got the Eavis's thinking.

There was a little bit more to him than that, there was some young girl who had handwritten letters from him with intimate details confessed.

If memory served the girl held no grudges and didn't consider herself a victim.

I guess the excuse they were all at it, doesn't wash nowadays but there is an awful lot of pop songs written about undeage girls.

Though it does bring new meaning to the title of his show

They also spent £25m on a back up keeper so £208 spent

I read Pat Nevins biography & it was like a love letter to John Peel. You’d be asking the publisher just how many got sold & can they get them back…..
 
Well that performance is going to upset the media.

Can see the BBC Sports headline :-
"City peak too early, their squad will be exhausted by this meaningless, Infantino vanity project".

Sky will no doubt trumpet that Liverpool will win the title by Easter, again this season...

Wonder how the MEN will shoehorn the Trafford Tramps into title contenders...
