He has been excellent for some time.Wouldn’t normally be singing his praises but though Numes was excellent in this game.

So what's the point of having backroom staff if they don't have any influence, should just have Pep and save some moneyI dont think it's the coaches influencing Pep particularly, this just looks like normal Pep to me and last season was the outlier for multiple reasons.
We change backroom staff fairly regularly and have done for as long as Pep's been with us, I think it's better for Pep that way as he likes having new people around to bounce ideas off.
It feels like the new coaches, and Kolo who's been with us a while let'snot forget, are getting more praise and being given more credit than they maybe deserve because people have heard of them before and because they're all obviously the best in the world due to their time at the holy site of Anfield.
If the exact same group of coaches had come to us from Libertad then they wouldn't be mentioned as much as they have been already, particularly by the press.
I'm sure they're all great at their jobs but I've seen people suggest that Pep's going to try getting the team to press the opposition due to their influence or that playing three up front is because of the genius ideas the new coaches have picked up from Saint Klopp or the football genius Rodgers, as if we weren't one of the best pressing sides in the past or have never used a fluid front three to great effect without them suggesting it to Pep.
People are acting like last year was Pep's and the teams normal levels ignoring the 8 years previous and we're now only playing well thanks to poaching some of the special genius that only those that have graced the hallowed halls of Anfeld could ever come up with.
I don't mean any of this towards OP in particular but I've already seen plenty of posts acting like Pep was a poor manager until now when he has been lifted to greatness on the shoulders of Anfields finest, which is patently nonsense.
I suppose if Rico isn't playing someone else has to be the target of the mood suckers.Apart from his mistakes, every time he got the ball the game slowed up. We have better options.
Had a nightmare, had it in my head it was an 8pm kickoff US eastern, slipped into the blue oyster for a quickie on the way home from work just after 4 and it was live on the big 80 incher, don’t know what came over me
Blue oyster you say ..Had a nightmare, had it in my head it was an 8pm kickoff US eastern, slipped into the blue oyster for a quickie on the way home from work just after 4 and it was live on the big 80 incher, don’t know what came over me
He has been excellent for some time.
It’s always been ridiculousBefore kick off I saw a load of posts about Pep's team he had picked not being good enough, this forum is getting ridiculous
That was a great Indian restaurant in Timperley village, pity it is no longer there.Or al hilal.
He's not. There was a clear distinction between last nights game and his games before. If you've got fans that have been giving him stick now saying, "actually, he was good last night" then it's shows a difference.
He was very very good last night, worked hard, didn't put one foot wrong defensively, and grabbed two assists. Fair play to him. He deserves to be our RB for the rest of this tournament, in my opinion.
Nah, Nunes has had plenty of good games in that position last season. Hard to come back from his double fuck-up vs United at home that handed them 3 points. He's not. There was a clear distinction between last nights game and his games before.

And he slipped in for a quickie!A man if you went into the Blue Oyster Bar
Strong leaders aren't afraid of being influenced by those around them. Pep is clearly a strong leader. So what's the point of having backroom staff if they don't have any influence, should just have Pep and save some money
