Glastonbury 2025

Years ago I was competing a comedy night at Coach and Four in Wilmslow. Was taking the piss out of a lad at the front because he said he was a singer in a band. He was quite chubby then and had big glasses on so I was calling him Joe 90 and he was proper pissed off.

In the interval his mam and dad turned up bladdered, straight from the airport after a holiday. He told his mam and dad I'd been taking the piss out of him and they threatened to batter me when I was outside having a fag.

His mam and dad were Denise Welch and Tim Healy. Joe 90 was Matt, the lead singer of 1975

Michael Eavis recently transferred £80m of his shares in Glastonbury to his daughter to avoid inheritance tax.
fk me, he must have read working-class hero Tony Benn's autobiography - he knew a few tricks even the Tories didn't, did our shampoo socialist

My worst nightmare being at a place like this. All packed in there the middle. What if you need a shit from one of the obviously rancid-filled burgers you bought an hour ago?

I’d rather hurl myself off the Beetham.

ha ha class!

If this lot had been around thirty years ago or more they'd have been laughed out of any decent studio and bottled off stage.

The line up is shite this year.

The 1975 - No Thanks
Neil Young - They have dropped a right bollock picking him and not being able to show it on their annual BBC showcase!
Rodrigo I don’t mind her for the younger ones.

Watched Supergrass earlier - crap

Shed Seven - too many new songs and that Suspicious minds cover with whoever that freak is was just weird.

Wet Leg - they were only on a couple of years ago. Yes quite original and I quite like some of their songs bits what’s with all that screaming.

On the positive side I quite enjoyed Morrisette.

I’ve picked out Raye tomorrow with Gary Numan on another stage.

Sunday - Prodigy to the rescue with a bit of Rodrigo.

Really poor start to this festival for me. I love watching this usually.

This guy smoking on stage should be thrown out in this day and age.

I'm not anti smoking either, each to their own, but it's a piss poor example to the world that is trying to reduce smoking.

She done a couple great albums back In the day, writes and plays all her own stuff. What’s not to like.
"Couple" and "great" doing some very fkn heavy lifting there.

Millions (including buskers) write and play their own stuff (and do it better).

"What's not to like?" Think the character count will cut this off before I get to the end.

Given your propensity to hyperbole over the mediocre, along with being a repeat offender WUM, I'll take just a small shovel full of salt with your comments.
