It's the Sugababes that sampled Are Friends ElectricHmmm...
Numan finished on his heavy version of the classic synth song. One he's been doing live for years. The other is a sample.
One is not copying the other.
Have liked them a lot more ever since I realised they weren't "the next big indie band" but actually a nice Prefab Sprout-lite group. Never gonna make my heart pump but they knock out a nice sophisti-pop ditty.Blossoms fantastic as ever.
Can’t believe those cunts gave in to pay to broadcast this shite. I used to like NY but he sold out to the bank of NY.The BBC deeply regretting having acquiesced on televising Neil Young.
Wednesday Kings of Leon + Manic Street Preachers looking forward to it! :)Thought you were joking..then looked it up and youre right.

:-)Went to see Sugababes the other week at the Co-op Arena and there was a girl next to me filming the entire thing on her phone. Not my idea of fun but hey, she wasn't bothering anyone. Until my mate went to the loo and came back midway through a song. She wouldn't let him go past her and back to his seat because he would "get in the way of the video". Needless to say he shoved her out the way and sat down, lol.
Whilst I was having a full on slanging match with my girlies at the time, I can confirm that Numan was very good. He was a great distraction........Watched Pulp earlier- Jarvis is still the man. Nice little set that from Pulp.
Raye is impressive but not really my cup of tea.
Believe Gary Numan was good. Can’t find that though.
One of the bands that has impressed me the most in terms of stage presence and getting the crowd going has been Wet Leg. Quirky bunch them but I quite like them.
Looking forward to the Libertines, Prodigy and the Maccabees tomorrow.

You're right - should deffo be someone from the current top 40.......... ;-)The BBC deeply regretting having acquiesced on televising Neil Young.
He was, very decent indeed. More Metallica than Bowie or Kraftwerk.Mrs and I just saying the same thing.
Was talking about Numan's band more so than him. I don't know too much about him, but his band were solid. He was, very decent indeed. More Metallica than Bowie or Kraftwerk.
