Diogo Jota & his brother Andre have died in a car crash

Good god that’s awful.

People die all the time but it always feels weirder when a footballer dies.

Imagine if it was someone like Bernardo silva for us.

I’d be in absolute bits. We don’t know them personally but they give us so much joy and we feel connected to them in some strange way.

I remember when foe passed away. I was only very young but I cried then too. It’s just such a horrible situation and my heart goes out to all those effected by this loss

That’s what one of them said. They don’t know them but they’re part of it. He was planning on getting his kids Jota kits, that’s when he started to break a bit.

I can’t imagine it, one of our lads.
 
Terrible news! What a player he was. Reminds us how volatile life can be. R.I.P
