I started and actually finished painting the Forth Bridge, since the news broke :-)Yup, it’s exhausting.
Since the news broke of the charges I’ve become a father, bought a new car, got 2 new jobs and joined Blue Moon.
I get there needs to be due process and it takes time. But for the love of god the panel must know the verdict, put us out of our misery, then we can move on from this.

One of my uncles was part of the team that actually did paint the bridge in the summer months.I started and actually finished painting the Forth Bridge, since the news broke :-)

Lawyers always make me laugh, though. They all have a speak button which you can press and they will keep going until you press the button again. Or the money runs out .... Our lawyer in Geneva was amazing, he could do that but switch between English, German, Italian and French without breaking stride. Smart cookies. But mostly annoying :)
The Red Football story is a red herring. We always knew plc accounts get adjusted for the submission to PL. The issue is only around the nature of deductions and the Covid one remains the most questionable. But no case to answer as the PL accepted all of it.@slbsn
Kieran Maguire was recently interviewed by the BBC to explain why Man Utd were unexpectedly active in the transfer market https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cj09pn56361o . He explains there that their PSR calculation was based on a UK subsidiary's pre-tax losses (£36.2m) which massively undercut the parent company's (£130m) pre-tax losses. This is reported as a matter of fact way. I have read elsewhere ( https://onefootball.com/en/news/how-man-utd-remain-within-psr-limits-despite-heavy-spending-41207406) that the difference is due to Red Football's accounts as excluding much of their takeover and finance costs.
In a Group of companies, I can understand why you would have different reporting entities relating to different part of the businesses but in Utd's case there is only 1 football club. If I was the regulator and I knew that a club's accounts excluded some costs attributable to the running of that football club, I'd be asking questions and potentially making an adjustment to their adjusted losses.

Isn't the fact the PL accepted the COVID allowance without question an issue in itself?
What would it take for something to be looked I to if the PL says it's fine? Is that automatically the end of things or is there a process whereby other members could question it?
Or are the reasons for them accepting that deduction clearly defined somewhere?

They will never get a points deduction nor will they ever get relegated.
Even if they didn’t win a single league game they'd still stay up because they get preferential treatment.
They might get a little slap on the wrist or the press will report something as 'minor' but they'll never get a threat of a European ban or a transfer ban.
Now this shite of offshore accounts being slowly released into the mainstream but nothing actually being done fucks me right off.
