PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

We don't know what process was involved. I am not convinced we can assume it was all just waived through.
If there was something questionable with united and the prem league regarding the covid allowances, would forest, Everton and Leicester been all over it with some sort of challenge.
Would I be correct in saying because that never happened then there is no conspiracy, as much as I would love to think there is!

It also impacts on the fans because we are the paying customers. The whole process must be open and transparent. We already know for certain that the PL ignored their own legal advice to create “unlawful” and “unfair” rules which damaged our club commercially. Why should we trust them?

We have plenty of evidence from their actions, that they absolutely should not be trusted !

It's not as bad as it looks because I think they are still actually losing money and are simply spreading that loss between 2 companies.
They avoid fines others receive for dubious reasons but I'm happy with them continuing to put borrowed money down the black hole of money loss.

The whole shit show of a club needs to be exposed and the true details of their operations available for proper scrutiny.

They have been protected by UEFA, PL etc for far too long, with rules invented / distorted / corrupted specifically, to keep them afloat.

The rags and scouse could sell blood diamonds with your half time pint and the PL will find a way to justify it.
Are we talking about Arsenal major shareholder Stan Kroenke again?

The sheer gall of having Visit Rwanda on their shirt sleeves and everything else sponsored by Emirates and then complaining about City fans not having a moral compass.

I think so.

Maybe there’s another legal case that we simply don’t know about. The APT cases took a long time to hit the press. If only we had someone with a direct line to Khaldoon.

in one word, no.

You absolutely cannot go into a tribunal with whataboutery and finger pointing.

Perhaps if Forest, Everton and Leicester were treated in exactly the same was as the rags.

As I understand it, there have been challenges, but do you know equivocally if they were dealt with in exactly the same manner ?

I think the answer to that question is probably the golden key to the problem - transparency is not high on the PL's agenda where certain clubs are involved. IMHO

In all honesty mate if the whole process is a sham and a defendant (If that's what we are) can prove skulduggery then fuck it.

We should be going down with all guns blazing calling the cheating cunts out for what they are ;-)

I believe that is what the club are trying to do using the legal channels .

You way is far more attractive to so many of our supporters who would love to see the cartel and it's sycophants exposed, crushed, and removed from it's position of influence :)

Still makes me laugh that people think HRH is subsidising all of our sponsorship deals out of his own pocket and is actually losing millions every year just so his toy can be successful. Don't they know that everything HRH buys into is to make money not to throw it away the CFG was bought to make money.

When you see the likes of Chelsea and Villa selling their women's teams and also Chelsea selling their hotel to themselves and still claiming the operating profit. Then the rags claiming covid allowances when no other team in the league did. Then you have the illegal interest free director loans that Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton and Brighton have been using to get round ownership investment. Then you also have Spurs who’s owner being done for insider trading.

The PL has created the Wild West of clubs and their accountants looking at the rules to see how they can bend the rules to their advantage. All those examples outlined above and the way the rags seem to be spending money even though they don’t have it make me believe we will have nothing to worry about with the larger parts of this case, I actually think there will be a relaxation and change within the rules as it’s current form is killing the league and resulting with players not choosing the PL as a destination.

Could Everton have not have challenged the amount of their allowances using the Rags as a comparison?

I still think the fact that no-one was charged last season stinks and suspect the PL knew that the Rags would have been one of the teams in danger so felt their hands were tied.

Just a little thought here ……
Is this huge delay in the verdict because the PL are thrashing out a compensation package for MCFC ?

Happy Friday everyone !
