Oasis reunion

It will be ruined by a lot of social media wankers letting the world know they were there. The real fans, the old cunts who saw them at small venues then Knebworth etc will feel short changed by thousands of cunts permanently holding their selfie sticks up.

That should lessen as the tour goes on hopefully.
I was asked to to stop singing because I was ruining some millennials video at a recent gig, I didn't think I was that bad!

Was anyone on here at one of the last Oasis gigs in 2009 and is going to any of the gigs in the next few weeks?
I was at V Festival in Staffordshire in 2009 on the night of their last gig before the split. I’d never seen them before and I must confess I didn’t see them that night either, deciding instead to go and watch MGMT instead of Oasis!

Finally broke my Oasis/Gallagher duck last year when I saw Liam at Co-Op Live and have to say it was mint.

I was driving on autobahn to Constance from Munich in 2009 to watch them at a festival day after their Paris gig and heard they’d split up on radio on the way.
Nearly turned back but carried on to find out bloody Deep Purple had been dragged in last minute to replace them. Luckily Kasabian saved the day with an epic set.

Seen them 7 times back in the day and seen Noel, Liam and Brady eye since didn’t manage to get my mits on tickets this time round.
Everyone of their concerts I’ve been to has been ace and I’m sure these will be too. Hope everyone has a great time.

I took my then 12 year old son up to Glasgow to see them in 1997.

My mates soon cottoned on that dads could take their sons on overnight trips to Oasis gigs.

Crikey bobs we went all over, with overnight stays to see them it was great. Imagine having to go and see your kid in a school play, boy so much better when you could take them to gigs.

Fortunately my lad began liking the bands I was into, so overnight trips again to see Iron Maiden, Saxon, Black Sabbath and many more.

Now they all have kids and my 12 year old Grand son is into some generic lift music, it's dreadful.

Saw Maiden the other week with the old man they were fucking superb!

I seen them all over during their hey day and I am off LA to see them in September.
I was at the Etihad gig, but I have absolutely no recollection at being there. I was that smashed, I can't remember a single thing.
I do not have a single picture, video or live stream from any Oasis gig I attended. All I have is my ticket stub, some tatty t-shirts I got for a fiver outside the venues and some very blurred memories.
For the record, I don't remember the Prodigy being better than Oasis at Knebworth. I remember lots of people going to the toilet when the Prodigy came on.

The selfie stick has to be the most irritating invention ever.

We couldn't get tickets, but me and my lad saw them at the MEN Arena in 2023.

I first saw them way back in 1980 supporting Judas Priest on their "Breaking The Law" tour. I think that was in the March, and I bought their first LP the day it came out a couple of months later.

I went with my lad to see them for the first time in 2000 at the MEN Arena, on the Brave New World tour, and the irony was that Robert Halford as a solo artist was the support act. That was a tremendous show it really was.

Watching on a live stream.

They're sounding solid. Must be a cracking night for all them there.
