PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I'm the opposite tbh. For about 18 months after the charges were first announced, it was on my mind a lot and I was pretty stressed thinking about the possible outcome and ramifications. It's dragged on so long now that I find myself less arsed these days. Partly fatigued by it all, partly because of all the soft signals from the club. Even in the very worst case scenario, I'd just think fuck it and carry on supporting the club regardless, as I have my whole life. Nothing would detract from the memories of the treble, Centurions season etc.
Thanks Ric, as it goes in you do start to realise nothing can really take away what we’ve achieved as a team and also as a club. We’ve seen things most clubs will never see.
We can’t change the outcome of the charges so why worry. Thanks.

That would 100% leak especially over such a long period of time. It's also not the kind of thing you can really hide at such an organisation.
The pl have 2 directors: masters and Brittain, might just be possible to ensure the verdict isn’t disclosed. It cannot be ruled out that city and the pl have been told if there’s only a very small number of people informed who have a vested interest in waiting

Some people on here inhaling serious hopium. There’s already been hundreds of people in here blagging that they’re in the know (or has a ‘source’), no doubt there will be more to come as well. All complete piss-artists.

It’ll come out when it comes out. Sit tight.

what if the panel takes 10 more years to "work" on the decision? if nobody can tell them to hurry the fuck up whats limit in place for them to drag it out.

I think it's fair to say based on recent history that if the PL knew the outcome then it absolutely would have leaked.
To be totally honest we use the tag, the PL, but who does this refer to because I don't know. When the news breaks/broke who in the PL will know first? I guess Masters and Brittain but as I understand it the clubs are the Premier League so should all be told ASAP. If that is the case then whatever the outcome it couldn't be kept from leaking.
Or does it just go to a few nameless suits and kept from the member clubs?

Maybe someone here understands this part better than I do

A writ alleging unconscionable delay causing City damage. Probably a writ of Mandamus.

But isn't that what Stefan is doing (no disrespect meant to him)?

For the record I have no clue which is closer to the truth but accept that both have been "told something" and are only posting in good faith.
Might be, but my disbelief in one claim has nothing to do with whether or not I believe another tbf.

I mean, I do happen to agree with Stefan's claim, but because it makes sense and the other doesn't. Not because i think he has 'better' sources.

Like most of us on here you are in no position to judge the merits or otherwise of either of their sources. It is also unhelpful of Stefan to seek to undermine PBs account and quite telling.

I wasn’t commenting on the veracity of the two rumours more that multiple rumours can exist at the same time. The one thing I have learned over my years is that sometimes a rumour that seems unlikely does prove to be true although in this case it is going to be irrelevant anyway because the focus will be on the actual decision published.
Other than they are such polar opposites they literally can't both be true.
