You say this yet clubs still find ways to blow hundreds of millions a year on players who turn out crap. These clubs are not dumping grounds, they watch the same pl like the rest of us and rate the players that we rate. Their understanding of football is just as good as ours, the only difference at this stage is that we have more ambition and expectation than they do. If we think Grealish, Phillips and the likes are no good, then the fans of these teams certainly feel the same way and would not want these players in their team.
It is disrespectful to the fans of the other team to suggest that poor performing players here would go over to another pl team and do wonders there. In McAtee's case, I can say yes we might be willing to let him go as places are limited and the fans would surely welcome him there, but the likes of Jack and Phillips aren't being pushed out because of limited places, they are being pushed out because they failed here. That's the simple truth.
With respect, clubs don’t ask fans for who to buy or give a shit.
I wouldn’t be shocked if Forest go after McAtee, he’s young, English, cheap with potential sell on potential (same as Gibbs White) and just had a good u21 euros that will get people excited. I have no doubt Edu will want to forge good relationship with the likes of City now he’s left arsenal also
Grealish still has a lot of credit in the bank in the league. Fans would be up for him joining imo and a loan move for them to have an experienced player for their first European trips will be valued at board level.
