Grealish left out of the CWC squad (pg34)

These clubs are not dumping grounds, they watch the same pl like the rest of us and rate the players that we rate. Their understanding of football is just as good as ours, the only difference at this stage is that we have more ambition and expectation than they do. If we think Grealish, Phillips and the likes are no good, then the fans of these teams certainly feel the same way and would not want these players in their team.

It is disrespectful to the fans of the other team to suggest that poor performing players here would go over to another pl team and do wonders there. In McAtee's case, I can say yes we might be willing to let him go as places are limited and the fans would surely welcome him there, but the likes of Jack and Phillips aren't being pushed out because of limited places, they are being pushed out because they failed here. That's the simple truth.
You say this yet clubs still find ways to blow hundreds of millions a year on players who turn out crap.

With respect, clubs don’t ask fans for who to buy or give a shit.

I wouldn’t be shocked if Forest go after McAtee, he’s young, English, cheap with potential sell on potential (same as Gibbs White) and just had a good u21 euros that will get people excited. I have no doubt Edu will want to forge good relationship with the likes of City now he’s left arsenal also

Grealish still has a lot of credit in the bank in the league. Fans would be up for him joining imo and a loan move for them to have an experienced player for their first European trips will be valued at board level.

I think much better chance. He's going to play for a start, he'll be coming of a good break and more than anything he'll have a massive chip on his shoulder to prove Pep wrong. Whether he's good enough isn't even a debate, but can he apply himself, i think he'll be desperate to.
I'd be happy with that scenario but I think he's done something to blot his book with Pep and hes done.

No he never.
He was left out for a reason. His form was not good enough.
Injuries did not help as well.
Well he did in the games i remember at least.

As others have alluded to though, i think its more off the pitch stuff that's let Jack down (training included maybe) and that's why Pep just doesn't want him now. It could be the kick up the arse he needs but wherever he ends up id say its his last real chance.

Yeah i was listening to 93:20 and i think it was and Ashan talking about all the off the field shit Jack gets up to including his drinking and the impact that's had on his performances on the training pitch. Its hard not to like him as a character, but i think Pep just doesn't accept that kind of lifestyle.

Hard to say but after the treble he was fucked for the whole summer pretty much. God knows what happens that we don't see but something changed.
He crashed a car drunk and ran off before we signed him; that is all I was saying.

I would think training is the major issue.

I’ve a feeling he fell out with Pep around October time when Pep said he won’t forget about the players who stood up and put themselves on the line through injury and being suddenly fit for international he mentioned Walker and the 100 caps but I’d say he had Grealish in mind later on in the year Grealish was injured again but still went to the England camp to be sent home I found that strange a club is saying a player is unfit to turn up I get the country can say we want to double check (I’d say this has happened loads) but if the player says no I’m fucked I’m sure the international side will say fine but obviously Grealish said no I’ll go get a 2nd opinion

Something is not right with Jack and Pep, and there is only going to be one winner. Pep says the right things about his players and never digs out a player in interviews, but when you're not playing or not even getting picked for the FIFA World Club Cup, it's clear you're done.

City has 2 options now, one is to loan him out or sell him for cheap and get him off the books
It's Sad Really, because Jack can be an ideal player for Pep with his strength on the ball and is hard to knock him off the ball, In the treble season, he was outstanding and the key player for me in anything we won

Serie A or Turkey would not be bad leagues to get back into some groove. No Premier League club would take a gamble on him in his current condition.

It is nothing to do with Pep who has bent over backwards to help Jack, as the rest of the club has done. Jack is very talented but, like so many before, he has too many demons.

Jacks sound lads, I'm looking forward to seeing him rifle home a pen against Northwich in the FA Cup, not see him for 3 months then play a random role against PSG again.

Yep

Sadly, Jack is losing his battle with the demons, I hate to see great players go down this route because talent is born, and they have been chosen to live with it. If only life was made easy and you could learn to be an outstanding talent of your choice, Jack will not be the last player to fight the demons and lose

I have been told that he is a really caring and kind person but has really struggled in the last 18 months. It is sad that often the most talented people find it hard to adjust to life.

Yep, Life is hard enough just being a normal person, but having a talent and learning to handle it, some people take to it like ducks to water, and others struggle. Jack looks like a good guy and always makes time for others with disabilities.

Pretty Sure he has been in Saudi, think it was on his insta (could be mistaken). That would offer a clean break and he could keep his bank balance growing, Alcohol is illegal though :/
Just pop over to Bahrain and the there's plenty of alcohol.

It's rammed with folk from KSA at the weekend. Sadly, they often drive around pissed up, too. :/
