That’s literally the opposite of how the station is. They want to generate controversy and angry phone calls. Someone decreeing City are innocent and being persecuted by the historically successful clubs would generate all of that and more. A bunch of people agreeing makes shit radio for a station like that.

Just because a lot of people shout loudly about it doesn’t make it true, in fact if a lot of people shouting about it is all you have (I haven’t heard anything more substantial than that) than it probably isn’t true and can never be passed as true.

I think they are wrong. If someone came on the panel and said City are innocent, the rags and the dippers would phone in frothing at the mouth and create much better radio. You can always trigger a red moron!
 
I remember one City fan caller to talksport mentioned the red shirt cartel and Danny Murphy had to explain to gobby White what that meant.
