PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Is this correct, I thought it was the UEFA bloke.

Three judges one appointed by Uefa, one appointed by City and one neutral to both parties. The judges were always going to fall into their appointed side’s verdict but the important one who was the neutral sided with City which tip the scales in the club’s favour.

What concerns me is the CAS judge submitted by UEFA found against us, this without doubt brings into question his integrity.

Fast forward to the Prem case and we're told they're all fine upstanding people and it's suicide to give a false decision.....

I think on this panel it’ll be the A team. All Kings Counsel with too much to lose in terms of their reputation. The earlier panel that found Leicester guilty was clearly amateur failing to taken into account the fact that the PL did not have jurisdiction. As for the CAS hearing the UEFA representative clearly acted without integrity and was looking to secure future work representing UEFA.

I remember one City fan caller to talksport mentioned the red shirt cartel and Danny Murphy had to explain to gobby White what that meant.

Call us on 22 33 44….
Yeah, white knew perfectly well what he meant.
He was just trying to be cute and dismissive.
The guy is a tool.

If we’re cleared I’ll be looking forward to his and Jordan’s reaction.

Also, is it not hypocritical that Jordan complains about financial doping when he admittedly lost his money by pumping it into Palace. If he had more money he had as much money as sheikh Mansour, he probably wouldn’t have stopped.

But isn't that the reason for concern - the way you describe the situation means that 2 were partisan when they are supposed to be objective. We are told that the KCs will be totally unbiased. Weren't the CAS judges also supposed to be from an elite group - but it seems the esteemed CAS panel members weren't unbiased.

My amateur understanding is that the painfully slow writing up procedure will give all the legal reasons for the Panels decisions on each and every charge.

I think they will want to get it UK law correct.
So if they have difficulty with any decision at writing up stage they may have to reconsider their previous verdict I assume.?

I’ve gone from being really worried about this case to almost past caring.

My overriding feeling is annoyance that it’s gone on for so long and no one gives a toss about what we City fans think.

No one in the media (Samuel aside) sticks up for us so we are left to stew in silence. In the dark about our future

If this was the red lot there would be media campaigns and questions asked in parliament about the fans welfare.

Increasingly I am irritated with our owners. Their lack of communication whilst this drags on and on really grates.

Yes I know it’s an anti competitive tactic to stop us and it’s a legal matter etc etc.

But this nonsense goes on and on.Do our owners ever see a time when it stops? It’s ridiculous.
Amen to that my blue friend.

the panel most likely spending their luxury holiday on a month long one of a kind cruise as we speak here about them sweating in their office writing the decision haha

I remember years ago talking about the printing process with a former schoolmate.
His job at the time was proof reading which meant reading every page of every publication the firm printed for correct spelling and punctuation etc..
In fairness, as a younger library user, cannot remember any obvious spelling mistakes in the hundreds of books I have read.
Compare this with the news TV channels and the yellow banners that appear which often, despite modern spellcheck software, contain errors.

Hopefully the writing up will be error free and legally flawless.

I thought so. Why would the UEFA judge side with City? Answer he wouldn't.

Are we there yet?

Genuinely, to those that have knowledge of similar proceedings are we at least approaching a reasonable time frame for a decision? Assuming as ever in football/sport, such things are general expedited.

If hopefully City are fully exonerated, don’t expect them two twats White & Jordan to cover the story with the same exuberance as they have with the bringing of the charges,it’ll be a 10 minute segment and then move on,and even the 10 min segment will ONLY consist of the brown envelope angle….

I have to admit that I've never quite understood that, it's not like paying for your own solicitor who you'd expect to be on your side. They're from a central pool who (in theory) should all be impartial. If UEFA (and presumably the clubs) know which way they're likely to lean then it turns what should be a fair hearing into a lottery.

proofreading is all one word.

although some may argue it can be hyphenated.
either way, it's not two separate words.

just sayin' :)
