Nobody said he single handedly won us the treble. Made a significant contribution that season and played really well Fine margins in winning trophies- counts big time in a historic year. Priceless.

No Grealish, no treble.
No Haaland, no treble.
No De Bruyne, no treble.
No Gundogan, no treble.

And so on.

Nobody is saying Grealish alone won it us, just acknowledging that he was one of the irreplaceable players that season.

Grealish's case is maybe slightly more elevated because nobody could play left wing for us that season.

Loan Jack to Everton for a season. He will be adored and gives them impetus in the new stadium. He doesn't have to move. He comes back when Bernardo, Gundog, Stones etc contracts are elapsed for an Indian summer with us for a year.

If he’s not good enough now to get into our team (which he isn’t imo) he definitely won’t be good enough if he goes out on loan and comes back in a years time. It’s better for all parties if he gets a permanent move away.
