Was he right to talk to the likes of Delaney & Mackenna? Well the optics were hardly going to endear him to the members of this forum. If he came out of that conversation thinking "these guys are obsessed loons" then that gets a thumbs up from me. But I doubt he has the knowledge to argue the case with them or challenge their views.
Or the inclination.

... Did he do anything after the CAS verdict?
I was trying to find this article that he allegedly wrote proclaiming us as guilty before the UEFA verdict but couldn't find it, I did find the following which is after the CAS verdict. There are a couple of issues that I'd object to and they'll certainly trigger certain posters. It's co-written with Matt Slater.

As per many of us have said it’s written for fans of other clubs….

Imagine if after the Dipper Paris fiasco, the story was littered with French police had the right to say the Fans have a case to answer……

I've only skim-read it but that seems fair enough from that. There was one line though that made me smile, based on my earlier post about Lee:

"So, does the full decision settle this tug-of-war? Yes, no, maybe… erm,"

That could only have been written by him.

This in particular irritates me the way it is presented…

UEFA also allowed City to nominate two of the three judges making the decision at CAS. Normally both parties choose one each and the third is selected by the independent body which runs the court but UEFA bowed to City in their desire for a quick hearing. Remember, over-turning City’s Champions League ban was a majority decision, by two to one.

Did you read the post?

It was Lee giving out the abuse on social media, including to me, when I was trying to help him. He could easily have walked away.
Yes i read it, you said it continued onto Twitter, so Sam did not start it, I stand by my opinion that Sam was not to blame for that incident and most probably doesn't give a reflection on Sam's character.

No he probably didn't start it but he didn't need to carry it on either, which was a reflection on his character. And I seem to remember it's not the first time he's been abusive on social media.

Decent read apart from this load of bollocks

That should be read alongside Martin Samuels piece on the verdict. Which if I remember correctly stated that 'no evidence' was given by the panel 7 or so times regarding UEFAs claims. The article you posted seems like it is Lee unable to control his emotions after City had been cleared and needed to throw every negative on City into the article whilst not saying the panel said there was no evidence to support UEFAs claims.
Also never mentioned the 1 who voted against City was UEFAs man. Time barring is a legitimate part of law and not a loophole as many seem to insinuate. It is going to be fun if and when City are cleared in the Premier League nonsense.
If any of my post on the article is inaccurate that is because I got bored halfway through and only skimmed the last bits. The whole thing and the latest one is awfully boring as well;-)

That's the problem isn't it?

Its a small section of the article, but it does change the entire feeling of the piece. Is there no fact checking any more?

Sorry, I'm pretty sick of being nice about this.

I think you people are tapped. And worst than this, I think you're liars. Every time I tell you to show me what he said that was so egregious, there's some half baked tweet or an article where he printed both sides of an argument. You dont even remember what he said but have just decided to hate him because you're caught up in a reality tv show. Go on, why dont you personally show me where the big bad reporter hurt you?

Tis for example

"Sam Lee reported that we were guilty as charged by UEFA and listed a whole host of punishments we were about to get, and was quite delighted in that."

This is you lying. Show me this.

You want a cheerleader in the press because you're small and insecure men who are so fucking frightened that your rag mates will take the piss out of you that you need constant reassurance over how brilliant and not guilty and wonderful and everything else positive that City are. Your scousers in disguise, constantly jumping on anyone who might even be perceived to have veered from the "correct line".
chill out Sam lad
