£65M is a big gamble, he's been a top player for Brentford, but has always looked his best in partnership with Wissa. Probably better than what he's replacing, but not a game changing signing I don't think
Was chatting this through with a colleague yesterday and we agreed that we're getting proper (budget) Rebrov and Schevchenko vibes from this pairing, split them up and one of them is going to go off the boil and spoiler alert it ain't normally the natural centre forward who struggles to adapt.

So, the common consensus amongst raggy fans is that they've signed pure quality, maybe overpaid slightly, but are no doubt back. I, and most of the footballing world, would disagree.

Meanwhile they continue to amputate last summer's saviours and declare it just and righteous. Clearing the deadwood, cleansing the disease.

Yet back into reality, their kitchens are still rodent infested, not to mention the pitch, and select seats on the stadium come with a free douche from autumn to march.

How does it go again?

Country roads, Cover up the cracks
Have a protest, When you lose
Blame the glazers, Or maybe Jim
Turn the corner, on those Country Roads

They're in a fix. They have to pay. They themselves claim "we are Manyoo, biggest club in the world", well then pay up--in the EPL teams don't have to pay.

They should be better next season, Hojlund can't get any worse and will be more experienced and Mbeumo/Cunha are better than what they've got, I mean come on they almost have to be. They have the benefit of playing just once a week, and having another "free hit" season (I though Amorim's time last season was the "free hit" but not my worry). They could be up there in the 5th-8th range over the season.

I don't know why they play Fernandes in midfield though, for all his creativity, if you're going to play him you better have battlers in midfield and surround her with other attackers that will put in the workrate.

Pep can't be the recipient of a title under the honours system, as he is not a citizen of the Commonwealth.

Neither was Steven Spielberg and he had one.

Pep might not be able to use it, but he should have been given the honour publicly.
A knighthood can be bestowed on a non commonwealth citizen Bob Geldolf was famously knighted as is our Sheikh but they arent allowed to use the title “Sir”

UK nationals or citizens from the 15 Commonwealth realms such as Australia, Canada and Jamaica can be nominated for an honour, and honorary awards for foreign nationals are recommended by the foreign secretary.

What makes you thing Hojlund will get better? He can’t control a football.

Yes, I know.

So that’s them back now with the 2 forward signings ..the giddiness will be off the scale and that’ll be only the media,if the rags get off to a good start they might do reasonably well push for an outside chance of Europe,if they start bad they could be in a world of pain..

Mbeumo at Brentford and Cunha at Wolves had better seasons than Rashford and Garnacho but are they innately better players? At Man Utd, good players become bad players. Players emerge, either from their academy or from the transfer market, with good potential then decline before being destroyed by their fan channels, "I've always liked Rashford, but ...".
