Are there any Trafford rumours other than posters in here wanting him because he’s club trained ?Hopefully the Trafford rumours are right

He’s not injury prone? He’s missed 29 games in the 8 years he’s been with us.Doubt there is a huge market for an 31yr old keeper with more than his fair share of injuries and according to those on here can't save anything, plus his big wages.
City can present whatever offers they want, it doesn't matter.
I refuse to believe Saudi's wouldn't be interested so if Eddie has made it clear he wants to go to Turkey then any other offer is irrelevant.
Rightly or wrongly, City are going to do good by Ederson and if that means we lose out on a few millions elsewhere then so be it.
Not if he only fancies Turkey.
Haven’t heard of any team being interested in costa beside us. I guess he has to wait
That is pretty injury prone for a keeper. Outliers like Courtois with a major injury but Ortega has played a lot more than any other 2nd keeper does at the top level. He’s not injury prone? He’s missed 29 games in the 8 years he’s been with us.
The only reason I can see City accepting a lower fee is get it done quickly in order that we don’t miss out on his replacement.
Maybe he does just want Turkey, but that seems weird as he’s already done his teeth and has a full head of hair.
In fairness, he really wanted Ter Stegen, who would have been excellent, before settling for Bravo when it wasn't possible

Barcelona captain reveals he came very close to joining Man City – ‘Pep really made an effort’
Speaking in an interview on BILD (h/t SPORT), Barcelona captain and first-choice goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has revealed that he came very close to leaving the club for Manchester City. The German international recalled how he was unhappy with his situation at Barça back in 2016, having...barcauniversal.com
Fabrizio has posted, but I get what you mean. People calling Portugal's established #1 shit just to push their Trafford agenda. I happen to like Trafford but at the moment Costa is clear...Are there any Trafford rumours other than posters in here wanting him because he’s club trained ?
I’d be onboard with him being injury prone if his injuries weren’t mostly impact ones. That is pretty injury prone for a keeper. Outliers like Courtois with a major injury but Ortega has played a lot more than any other 2nd keeper does at the top level.
Well yeah exactly, we do right by Ederson and get Trafford in before Newcastle pull the plug on him which he definitely wont want or maybe Costa as well.
I am sure Pep is going to want any player signed ASAP and in Manchester to begin training.
Porto are allegedly after £50m for Costa.I love Eddie. I think he’s improved massively in terms of shot stopping. Especially in the past couple of seasons. Since 2022 I’d say.
But I think it’s obvious he’s been open to a new challenge for a couple of years (won everything with us - like Gundo and Mahrez did by leaving) so I think it’d make sense, during a Summer of transition, that we make a change.
However, €3m is taking the piss for a world class goalkeeper who is still relatively young. And I hope we don’t fall for that trap just because he wants to go and through ‘loyalty’ to him by accepting a low fee.
If he goes, we should be able to get a fee that represents his true value.

It sounds like you’ll get your wish this summer.
I’d only get rid of Eddie if our number 1 target is achievable. Otherwise we may as well keep him for the last year and lose out on the €3m.
I’d be happy with Akanji and Gundog going though. We have enough cover in their positions.
I agree. The only reason I can see us accepting a low fee is if we need to wrap up his replacement quickly, which would probably suggest Trafford as he’s waiting for us before signing for Newcastle.Mate, there is not a chance in hell there is any way whatsoever he goes for €3m. That's complete nonsense.
Not a bloody chance Viana's first sale here is 3m for the first choice keeper who has been at the club for the best part of a decade, still has a year left, still a top player, still a regular, and who the club wanted £35m for, just last year. No fucking wat that claim comes to anything.
But I agree with you, and I'd go as far as €15m, as the point where a year and then a free transfer is worth more than a below value fee.
Have you heard anything about his replacement, or what they think Ortega will do?5th June I posted:
‘Right back is priority.
Goalkeeper situation is being closely monitored. The feeling is Ederson will leave this summer.’
Internally the club have felt he will leave for a while.
Brah! He is over 30. When do you think he is going to enter his prime? :)Lol. People think the greatest keeper we've had in many people's lifetime, a unique, irreplaceable player that redefined the position who has yet to even reach his prime, is worth 60% of the value of kepa...
In the <1% chance it's true, thats genuinely a sackable offence for Viana.
Maybe. But a 15m is a low fee. 10m is a low fee, although I don't think we would go that low, 3m is nothing, might as well not bother. We got 5m for Walker who hadnt played for us in 6 months and everyone knew we wanted off the wage bill.I agree. The only reason I can see us accepting a low fee is if we need to wrap up his replacement quickly, which would probably suggest Trafford as he’s waiting for us before signing for Newcastle.
