That last 20 minutes of the UCL final, he was playing like his rent was due. The save in stoppage time to seal it was ridiculous.

fun fact this is exactly the reason we never did the rebuild earlier cuz the club never got the fee they wanted. If we had just accepted the fees we got, Emerson could've moved on last season when it was clear he wanted to leave Saudi bid 30 mil for and the club said thats too little, same goes for Bernardo, PSG offered us 70 mil euros in 2023 and the club wanted 80, Saudi approached him with massive wages and were willing to pay us 80 mil but Bernardo wanted to stay in Europe, I think the other club was Barca in 2021 who bid 60 mil but the club stood firm.

Sometimes it's better to take what you get and just move on.

Been an incredible player for us but I think it's time. I think since the treble season his level has dropped and more and more mistakes have happened, he wanted to go last summer and I think his form suffered as a result.

That being said, he's been an amazing player for us who's won it all. Will forever and always be a legend.

It all depends on how much we want James Trafford (or whoever else is on the radar)

If the club decide it's time for a change, the amount received for Ederson or Ortega will be largely irrelevant.
