Not really the season but pretty much most large fields. If there's cow shit you'll find mushrooms. Around the time of first frost October is usually best. Plenty of vids on YouTube to help with identifying the right ones, there are very similar looking that will make you shit through the eye of the needle so dont skip that part.

I’ve only tried them once in Amsterdam, Mexican mushrooms according to the pakcket.
We intended getting back to the hotel before they kicked in and were on bicycles, we got lost,I honestly thought I was Mary poppins.

I did them on a stag do in Amsterdam in 99. Pholosophers stones they was called. We bought 3 punnets between us and headed back to our hotel to get our coats.
Actually just before that we was sat outside the Grasshopper and mine started coming on so off we went.
We spent 6 hours in our room tripping our tits off, I went under big time. I thought I'd come out of it and my head was fucked and started freaking out. Had a few funny moments, I thought it was raining in our room but my mate was flicking water on me.
We read the instructions on the mushrooms. Don't have with alcohol or cannabis.
Woops.
Great memories and very much a one off.
My mate put this on our WhatsApp group a while back after he was having a clear out.
