Not sure you can really suggest glory hunting with only 2 titles in 30 years...but surely it is these little infections that result in the body being stronger in the long run.
So to a degree the presence of a couple of "Dippers" is to the benefit of the forum?

As to all the signings, entirely possible that none of then settle, they don't gel into a team and we crash and burn. I think it certainly makes it an open season coming up.

It’s always “your year” so he/she has been brainwashed to think the Dippers are the greatest ever team to play football. I don’t understand why “fans” outside that City support this club. Dipperville is the vilest city I’ve ever been to, the people are arseholes, feral in the extreme and speak with the worst accent I’ve ever heard. The litany of violence and unsavoury behaviour is hard to accept but the media shit their pants about saying anything other than the truth about the club and the city in general, it’s a place I truly detest and a club I hate even more than our neighbours. Plus you’ve been in the driving seat with the accusations against us despite cheating to meet PSR/FFP regulations, especially the £50m for the shiny mythical stadium you wrote off to comply with rules and hacking our database. As someone posted once, I love waking up every day just so I can hate you lot more.

I have to say that I cannot really disagree with anything you say.

However, I appreciate that its a quick response and sometimes its difficult to get the full nuance into a response, as you do seem to be tarring the "bitters" with the same brush as many of my own fellow Dippers...but I get where you are coming from.

From a personal POV I hope that the whole charges and PSR thing just gets a "no case to answer" and then things can just move on. Alas, in this modern money orientated game fed by (social) media, I think it will just run and run.

There are no guarantees Liverpool will win the title again with all their spending this summer
We all know their back 4 is weak with milk turning faster than VVD
 
VVD is still one of if not the best centre backs in world football. He is superior to anything city have at this moment. I expect you disagree but that's ok . You are a City supporter

Agree with that. He's the best about and makes others play better. Like Stones for us.

Gabriel and Saliba/Van Dijk and Konate are both class and have that physicality we are lacking. That's what we don't have at the moment and that's what these clubs have over us. A much better defensive duo.

I'm taking our midfield and attacking options over anyone else's though.

I agree the lad is a Rolls Royce but he's a year older and that knee he injured will be asked to step it up a few more notches next season.

midfield maybe , attack no. Our wingers are not good enough and Erling alone won´t do much.
