That’s a brilliant idea!

Stack a fucking great pile of pressure on the kids' shoulders, before they even start their careers.

Genius thinking.
Best and Charlton started at United more than 60 years ago. Just think about that. Stanley Matthews was still playing when they started. United fans and the club’s staff are fixated on the past. They can’t move on. The club is a complete laughing stock.

There is nothing to suggest their team can compete in the PL. They really are on a downward spiral.
They do seem to be and hopefully it continues. Sadly I don't think they'll perform worse than last season in the coming campaign. Then again I could be talking claptrap.

I think that the 2 signings will make them better, I also think that the manager is not as clueless as some think. I hope I am wrong on both of those but I would not be surprised if they did a lot better next season. God knows they have spent enough recently, not all the players are bad players (over priced but not bad) so if the manager has finally got rid of the toxic players (Rashford, Anthony etc..) then they might actually have a pretty good team.
I now await the obligatory Rag comments and vicious counter posts....
They will be improved but mid-table mediocrity still beckons

I can only conclude they really haven’t watched Rashford last few seasons
Apart from the odd fleeting moments he’s been fucking awful, constantly runs into blind alleys, unable to carry the ball without looking at it, never try’s to win the ball back
Hardly ever passes the ball which is a pre requisite of Barca style and prefers to dive
Instead of going for goal if there’s any opposition within touching distance.
He would need to change everything about his game to fit in.
Think it’s too late for that.
100% back to the rags seasons end.

Same thing has been said every season for the last good number of years, and they've got progressively worse

The two players they've bought as individuals, are better players than the ones they've got, but the ones they've got are only going to get worse, and I'm not sure why that's difficult to understand

That.. ahem.. 'article' is full of zingers, but this was the real highlight that had me spraying coffee over my screen in a mix of laughter and bewilderment "...Lamine Yamal, who has emerged as a teenager on an even higher trajectory than Rashford did himself a decade ago..."

Imagine, if you can, being on an even higher trajectory then the next Macheda, Januzaj etc.

Imagine Rashy polishing Yamal's boots

This is what annoys me about online forums - your last part of the comment (bold) is not needed if you want discussion or have a different opinion. Why try and belittle? Why a barbed statement? If you were speaking to me face to face, would you not think that statement would elicit a potentially angry response? I just don't see why being online means you can basically just have a go at people.

Yeah I hope so, but on paper, these do improve them as well as the other measures they have performed.
I guess I am concerned as we seem to be "afraid of them" or give them too much respect when we play them, just look at the 0-0 last season - Pep seemed to set us up not to lose as he is wary of their threat, and I think that threat has just been increased by these signings.
