PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Club that wins six of the last 8 PLs has commercial appeal shocker!

How fucking thick do you have to be to not join the dots on this?

It's additionally amazing how many of the red-shirted, slack-jawed Cleetus's out there, cannot get their heads around the notion that most modern day sponsorships are quid pro quo affairs and that our owners represent a potential sponsor's wet dream come true.
To see idiots like Goldbridge (irrespective of whether he's just playing to his own dim-witted audience or not) citing replica shirt sales and how many fans they've got compared to us, as evidence that our deals must be 'dodgy', blows my mind on a regular basis......

Your last sentence is spot on.
We have so many entitled fans on here, spoilt little loudmouths who want pep sacked if we don't win 10 nil every match.
They spoil it for me coming on here as their negativity will be the death of this forum. I can say I'm bored logging on as I know what's coming. Kneejerkers and jonny come latelys with their plastic opinions.

And breathe....
Same shite spouted, confusing entitled with having standards. Last year wasn't good enough for many different reasons, down to planning, players, injuries and Pep not finding solutions. As fans, fans who pay a fortune to follow our club, we are ok to question things during periods like that. Isn't about winning, it is about competing and last season was a shit show. Nothing plastic about that, just not small time with a 90s mentality. We have one of the best managers ever, an expensive squad with quality players and the best people in the business running us. They won't be happy with last years standards and neither should we be as fans. They get our support at games, they get cheered and supported week in, week out, up and down the country and overseas. The second they start getting abuse at games I will agree but fans are allowed to call out a slip in standards on an internet forum that discusses such things. But again, that doesn't mean winning everything, it means competing.

Sorry pal, I’m not having this. For most of my life City were not competing but I and many of my contemporaries loved City and supported them through thin and thin. We dreamed of one day fluking a cup but we also knew we had potential. We just needed a board that believed in that potential and could back it up. It happened and it has been absolutely brilliant, but what happened before was an important part of our character building you should never lose sight of that.

Expecting to compete sounds like a sense of entitlement, we are not rags and dippers, we are much better than that.

Stinks of entitlement tbh. We've won everything and some fans still not happy when we lose ONE season. No sense of reality, like Utd fans tbh.

And our club ARE happy, they have kept the manager who achieved all the things you dont appreciate. It is just you, your type, expectant greedy fans who want it all and want it now. And forever .

if i'm reading that right city only have one team in there? What a load of shite - i don't reckon the '23 side was even the best under Pep
You don’t have to believe it. You are a free thinker! Teams 4 years after or before the peak aren’t included as separate teams though I’m not certain about that. I was just showing how we are miles ahead of United’s best team (who aren’t even their treble side)

The 37th Best Team in History was Ole's 2021 Man United.

Exactly, can't for one second grasp the concept that we aren't little City anymore and standards rise. The club are not happy one bit with last season and how we then performed in the club world club, if you think they are then you are blind to what our success was built on. Standards and striving to be the best and if you can't quite be the best then putting up a bloody good fight. If you cannot read then there isn't much more I can say to you. I do not expect to win every week, I do not expect to win the league every year, I do not demand a trophy a season. I do not expect record straight defeats, not being able to beat United, losing a cup final to a team in the lower half of the league, crashing out of the CL in one of the earliest stages but most of all playing slow boring shite football all season. That isn't us. That isn't City and we can be better. If that still doesn't get us over the line next season which I don't think it will, I will deem it a success to at least be in a title challenge whilst playing better football, all without winning anything, what is entitled there Mr small time?

When we wasn't competing did we vent our frustrations? Did we throw our season tickets onto the pitch? Did we protest our ownerships. Too fucking right we did and it is with rose tinted specs people look back at them times. If you don't think we should compete whilst being one of the richest clubs in the world, with the best manager and some of the best players in the world then you are as small time as the rest. Being shit in the 90s doesn't mean we accept dropped levels today, completely irrelevant. I fully expect to compete, I do not expect we win but to simply serve up better than last seasons mess.
